Pours a slightly hazy, bright golden yellow color with a two finger pillowy white head that slowly settles into a thick, lasting ring. Very nice retention with streaks of soapy lacing coating the glass on the way down.
Dank floral hop aroma with resinous oils and pungent grassy buds along with a subtle summit/onion presence, slight citris/topical fruit character and a pale malt backbone. Pine needle, kind buds, spruce tip and fresh cut grass countered by hints of grapefruit, pineapple and lemon zest sweetness. Pale biscuit malt backbone with some bread and faint grainy cracker. Smells pretty good.
Fuller end of medium body with a crisp spicy hop bite that lingers over the sweeter notes and pale malt into a bone dry finish. Grassy and floral with some sticky oils and resinous pine but the grassier notes really stand out. Perfect amount of dry bitterness that isn't too heavy or overwhelming. Nice amount of citrus fruit sweetness cutting the bitterness. Ruby red grapefruit, pineapple and lemon zest followed by bread, biscuit and grainy cracker. Light and dangerously drinkable. Very nice beer.
