I had this beer at Societe on a recent trip to San Diego. The beer was a dark yellow color and had a mild hop aroma. The hop flavor was more pronounced than the aroma would make you think and was nicely balanced with the malt finish. This was one of my favorite Societe beers.

A - Straw gold, huge head, slightly murky. Head slow to leave and lots of lace.
S - Bitterness is the primary smell. Can't really discern much else.
T - Light malt profile and definitely lots of bittering hops. Lots of citrus.
M - Mouth is on the light - medium side and in spite of the huge head, the beer itself feels somewhat under carbonated. Balance good and finishes pretty clean.
D - Good beer to try. A new brewery for me. Tried a few other taster while there. While not one my favorites, always fun to check out new stuff.
