Had on tap. Mostly clear golden body with a finger of white foam and lacing. Grapefruit pith, piney hops, lemon zest, lime and dankness in the nose. Taste hits the citrus in a dry sense, before entering into a world of west coast hops, very smooth yet potent. Feel is hoppy, moderately crisp, clean, and pithy.

Very pale, almost looks like a lager, no head retention. But a really well balanced taste, a little on the bitter side but very refreshing.

I guess I'm writing poetry for my reviews now.

Glowing gold.

Dank and hoppy.

Long lingering bitterness.

Drying finish.

This beer is the epitome of dank. Dank aroma, dank flavor, long lingering bitterness and a lasting aftertaste. I loved it. Maybe you will too.

The unicorn of IPAs. The one that I still search for years after my first taste.

Pretty light in color, almost looks as clear as a pilsner. Not a whole lot on the nose, just a little aromatics from the hops. First sip, I might guess they use cryo hops or lupulin powder, I typically get a little wet-hoppy grassy-ness from those. I'm not always a fan of those types of beers, but this one is pretty solid. Very much in the west coast IPA style, plus some of that lupulin note, a good IPA overall

July 16th, 2015 - Of all the beers at the English themed Society, the Apprentice is somehow the most English. Its aroma and flavor profile would be very familiar in a pub, and that makes it a td strange. Light and blonde, the aroma is nutty, and smells a bit like chicken soup and peas. And the flavor follows suit, serving up more mashed peas and a low, continental happiness. But the center of that flavor is really mashed peas, which combined with the smell of beer in the air transports me to the Eagle and Child.
