12oz bottle poured into a Harpoon IPA pokal. Label marked 11195 DE 2 7. Whatever the fuck that means. I guess that's an encrypted date/batch?
Appearance - Dark amber body. Offwhite head with low-medium retention. Very weak lace.
Smell - Musky husky corn. Medium bodied.
Taste - Slight malt in front. Low-moderate astringency through-ought. Slight coffee. Weak. But not off flavors. Nothing memorable. Enjoyable. Light bodied.
Mouthfeel - Watery. Feels like coffee that got cold. Slightly frothy.
Overall Drinkability - Meh. I remember it being better. One of the beers that started to show me that there exists things other than American Adjunct Lagers. Guess I really grew out of it though because while it's not bad, it's pretty disappointing.
