Appearance: This beer pours a brownish liquid, almost black with a creamy tan head. Minimal lacing can be found, with lots of beading.
Smell: The aromas are pleasant. Woody notes, toasted breads, slight alcohol, and a caramel maltiness. Not much hops can be detected other than saying this beer seems to be well balanced.
Taste: The flavors are much like the nose. Sweet toasted breads, almost chocolatey, has a bitter bite on the end. The malts are sweet caramel and dark fruits.
Mouthfeel: Almost thick bodied with a decent amount of carbonation. Chewy and slick, smooth and easy to drink.
Drinkability: This is in my opinion A-B's best beer on the market as of this date. Its a simple beer with a very drinkable flavor and aroma. Just good kick back beer.

It pours reddish-brown, overwhelming that dissipates rapidly, some lacings, and decent carbonation. it has sweet malty taste, little aroma, with hints of roasted grains. There is no bite or edge, goes done easy , and is not filling. Above average come pared to the lesser Anheuser products.
