Busch and Busch Light are both brewed with a blend of premium American-grown and imported hops and a combination of malt and corn to provide a pleasant balanced flavor. Additionally, Busch Light undergoes a longer brewing process that produces a lighter body and fewer calories.

Large fizzy head that dissipates rapidly. No lacing. Very clear body. Very light straw colored. Active carbonation.

Light aroma. Some malt. Some adjunct. Mildly sweet.

One of the better AB / INBEV light adjunct lagers. Mild malt. Mild adjunct. Mildly sweet. Very mild smokiness. Yeasty, grainy flavor. Somewhat stale. Watery, light, and drinkable. Inoffensive. Still manages to have some character. No hops. Drink ice cold. Really not that bad. Does not taste high quality. But easy to drink and goes down smooth.

Light bodied. Lots of carbonation.

A top 10 American beer in terms of sales. Goes down smooth. Hard to hate. Hard to love. Boring, cheap, inoffensive beer.

If you're not going to session Busch Light on a lazy afternoon, or during a relatively inexpensive cookout, I don't see why you'd drink it at all. This is one of the most basic and unremarkable beers I've yet to have, with a taste that's not revolting but not even half as satisfying as it could be. It's the kind of beer I'd buy if I was looking to have beer at the lowest possible cost, not particularly caring whether or not it was unique, but more along the lines of it being something to drink. The purpose of this beer is to be a cheap, economy beer with low alcohol content, meaning you can still work a six pack into your already tight budget. If that's what you want, you know who you are, but others have no reason to waste their time on beer flavored water.

Sampled tonight on 6/19/14 as I never had this one, believe it or not! So of course I needed to try it and review it of course. Bottle chilled down to 36 degrees F in my beer cooler and poured into a classic pilsner flute glass.

Pours a very clear straw-yellow in color with a very think white head. Some spotty lacing was seen. The aroma isn't too much, just for some corn and maybe some rice and grains. Above average carbonation that is the normal for most Bud products. The taste is slightly sweet with a strange light metallic taste similar to Michelob Ultra. Pretty bland overall and nothing real exciting. Overall, below average.

Poured into a shaker pint glass.

Look: Crystal clear light gold color. The white head disappears instantly leaving a light film and very light lacing.

Aroma: Corn adjuncts, metallic notes, malt or rice sweetness.

Taste: Slightly sweet and metallic up front, corn or rice adjuncts.

Mouthfeel: Light and carbonated.

Overall: Pretty bland, but for the price point it's not the worst beer out there.

12 oz. can poured into a lager glass.

A - Pale straw. No head, no lacing.

S - None

T - Carbonated water with a smattering of something that resembles beer. Some hops.

M - Light

O - It's not gross or disgusting; just doesn't have much flavor.

P.S. To everyone who says this is college beer, please stop mocking the student body's intelligence. Genesee, Milwaukee's Best, and Stroh's are so much better than this.

P.P.S. To the student body: Your next assignment is to pick up a 30 pack of the glorious Miller High Life. You'll be drinking just as cheap as before and smarter than dumbasses making 5 times what you do. Cheers.

Small head making the beer very easy to drink. In essence you get what you pay for. It has a a watery taste characteristic of cheap beers. Only drink it as a last resort. Very little smell at all. Make sure it's ice cold - a beer much more prevalent on college campuses.

Appearance: light gold color with a very small head that doesnt last.

Smell: sweet? not a whole lot of smell

Taste: Very watery beer, some hops but not much.

Overall: Best drank cold and is a very easy beer to drink in a sense. Not a great beer because there isnt a whole lot to it, very little smell or taste. As a college student it is very popular amongst my peers probably because of the price and how light and easy it is to drink. Once I am out of college I do not think I will drink very many more of these.

Busch Light is a Light Beer brewed by Anheuser Busch with an 4.2 ABV. This brew pours out a nice light amber color with a small white head. The head to this brew goes away fast. The smell of Busch Light is grains, malts , and some hops. So far not too bad. Now for the taste, it is mild with flavor. There is not much to this light brew. This beer taste like water with some grains in it. The mouthfeel of Busch light is Light, smooth and refreshing. There is nothing over[powering about Busch Light. It is just a smooth drinking brew. On a Hot summer day this brew would go down nice. Natural Light and Busch have a much more flavor to them than Busch light. For what it is worth this brew is light, nothing more nothing less. Overall I'm giving Busch Light a solid 4 out of 5. I would buy this brew again, but giving the chance to get Natty I would take that over this.

Bought this in a 25 oz. "one extra ounce" for my breweriana collection. Poured into a chilled pint glass.

A - A very light yellow with a huge head that is short lasting.

S - Tough to make a judgment since it essentially has no smell.

T - Hardly any, but what taste it has is mostly metallic with just a hint of grain.

M - Like drinking carbonated water with a slight (very slight) hint of beer flavor.

O - I can see it being very easy to blast a case of this stuff on a hot day since it is closer to water for rehydration than beer. I did like the Ice Cold Easy" indicator on the can and recommend anyone drinking this stuff to make sure it is as close to freezing as possible,

Oh Busch light. You remind me of being horribly poor and picking up 30 packs of these during college. While this beer will "get the job done," I suggest you don't purchase it. No flavor whatsoever and clearly mass-produced swill.

There's a reason college students drink this beer...

Poured from 16oz tall can into a pint glass.

Appearance: pale straw hue with no haze and a very strong effervescence. Head is a thick layer of white foam which dissipates almost instantly. Not great; not the worst, either.

Smell: sweetish, plasticy smell. Not good, but pretty inoffensive.

Taste: extremely light and largely inoffensive. A little bit grainy and a tiny hint of fruitiness, but mostly tasteless.

Mouthfeel: extremely light bodied, but lots of effervescence to try to juice it up. Pretty much par for what this beer should be.

Overall: highly drinkable, and so tasteless as to be completely inoffensive. Probably a great tailgating beer. Not something I'd normally go for, but for a light lager you could do a lot worse.

truly inferior beer, even for budget crap. offensive yellow soda water that tastes more like licking a battery than anything containing grain or hops. extract all the way here, I just don't taste any grain at all, none. metallic in the finish, more aluminum than I care to taste. its only asset (if you can call it that), is its refreshment capacity. when its freezing cold, a good chug can quench a thirst. this is so because the beer has essentially no flavor, so like a massively carbonated water. I don't mind a regular busch, but this low cal offering is brutal, even as the 30 pack stuff goes.

Type: 12-oz. can
Glass: Pint glass
From: Walmart in Fayetteville, N.C.
Price: N/A
Purchased: N/A
Consumed: Oct. 15, 2013
Misc.: Born on date of June 14, 2013; My younger brother bought an 18-pack

Poured a light golden clear color with one finger of thin off white head that disappeared quickly. No lacing on the sides of the glass and very poor retention on the top.

Smelled corn, cereal, honey and faint grass.

Tasted watery, corn, some honey and bread. Not flavorful at all.

Light body. Thin texture. Soft carbonation. Abrupt, watery finish.

My go-to beer in high school, thankfully not my go-to beer now.

Busch holds a special place in my heart since it was the go-to beer for my Brother and I when we both went to college. It was the cheapest thing the store sold.

It was unique among all the other cheap beers (Bud, coors, miller, ect) in that it had no taste what-so-ever. So we could easily chug these things down fast, great to use for playing beer pong, beruit, or any other beer party game.

Besides that though, its still a bad beer. If your looking to buy a beer to enjoy by yourself or with other people in a non-college party environment, I would pick pretty much anything else before I pick this.

Same as Busch in a 95 calorie watered down version.
MOR adjunct that was one of the 1st Non-Stroh beer's I drank as a youth.
1st tasted after a 10 hour drive from Nowhere Indiana to even more nowhere Missouri.
After the drive the cold Busch, at the time, was the best beer I ever tasted. It was perfect.. now that I'm not 19, don't smoke ,and my taste buds and smell have returned...
Not so perfect.. but a sentimental favourite nonetheless!
Carry on Citizens!

Served in a chilled mug at The Tombs.

Killing time before my arms control class, I just couldn't resist ordering one of these. I have no idea why. Anyway, this stuff pours a clear pale straw topped by a half-finger of short-lived off-white foam. The nose comprises stale barley, hard water, and astringent grass. The taste generally follows suit, with the hard water really taking over. The body is pretty light, with a light moderate carbonation and a watery feel. Overall, I knew what I was getting: a watery, light, mildly-fizzy alcohol delivery service. It's not very good at all, but I have still had much worse...

This beer is pretty watery looking. When you actually drink it you aren't suprised. it's about as thick and smooth as water. But it does have a hint of beer lol. It does have a slightly grainy smell. This is a pretty common cheap college party beer so what do you expect?

Left over from a bachelor party that found its way into my cooler... Why not...

A - A fizzy pours yields no retention or lacing... A moderate bit of rapid paced carbonation rises throughout... Carbonation bubbles can be seen bursting through the surface of the liquid... The color is a mix pale gold and pale straw... In other words, its exceedingly pale in color... Super clear and 100% translucent...

S - A very limited aroma... A bit of wheat... Lots of cereal grains... A touch of corn... A slight metallic tinge... Not much else...

T - The palate is even more subdued than the almost non-existent nose... A slightly off putting mix of cardboard, wafer, and cotton mouth...

M - On the fuller side of light bodied... Thin... A good carbonated bite...

D - This is a very poor light lager... A notch down from the typical BMC offerings... Not something I think I would ever find reason to drink again even at bachelor parties, tailgating or mowing the lawn...

Trying to make my way through the A-B line up ( as I am an A-B delivery driver) and was a little cash strapped, so Busch Light it was for this day of grass cutting...

Appearance: very light, clear, very watery. I drank my first from the can, and thought it was clear, but I poured the second into a glass and there is a slight yellow tint to it. Fizzed up with an aggressive pour, but dissipated quickly, no lacing

Smell: not much, very water like

Taste: the weakest beer I have ever tried, no taste at all. the scent from the grass on my feet is leaving a stronger taste in my mouth than this beverage

Mouth feel: bubbly, decently carbonated, thin and water like

Overall: Not good at all. Busch original is probably as light of a beer as I would drink, but at least I have another "had" under my belt. If cold enough, it is only a slightly slightly better alternative than water for a grass cutting day.

The old reliable college beer. As far as cheap domestic beers go, this is probably the best. It's better than Ice House, Keystone and the like. It has a clear yellow appearance with little to no head. Tastes metallic and watered down. Goes down without much resistance. Great for beer bongs, if you're in college and into that type of thing. If you're above the age of 25, you should not be drinking this beer.

Very faint nose, can barely pick out some apple and a sour smell. Taste is also faintly apple with a bit of sour trashiness. If drunk cold enough and chugged fast enough, the sourness can pass for a weird sugary flavor until the soda water-like carbonation scrubs everything off.

Overall, this Light beer has actually got a bit of flavor to it. Unfortunately, the flavor isn't quite beer, as there is no real malt or hop character to be found.

Tricked into drinking this one. Poured into a beer bong.

A - Color of bright pee yellow underneath the neon blue tube of the bong itself. Surprising amount of head for a light beer.
S - Corn, lager yeast, painkillers, pure hate, no hops.
T - Well for a watery beverage it sure does go down acidic. I gagged a bit when it went down, didn't puke because I am a man. Still it doesn't have enough corn for me to really enjoy it so starchy water not great.
M - Light like water from my local river light and by that I mean full of chemicals, heavy mud and sediment, and kills all new life introduced to it.

Overall Dear GOD avoid if you can this beer has gained some interest in my brother but it's not a good step up from natural ice. Not one bit.

This is not a craft.. For a light beer, and price the taste is not bad. I like it. Crisp and light beer. You can get buzz half the price of miller light and coors light. This is a good beer on budget. Nothing offensive about it All lithe beer drinkers should try it would save you some money.

12oz can bottled on 4/30/13. poured into a pint glass.

Pours a clear yellow color with a inch inch white head. Smell is corn...maybe. It's offputting. taste is pretty much water with a tad of hops thrown in. Not horrendous but definitely not enjoyable. Not so easy to drink, taste is too harsh to guzzle this one.

Overall this is a run of the mill light beer that is not remarkable in any way.

Appearance- The usual straw, corn yellow that you expect from this light lager style. 1 finger head, dissipates fast, very very light lacing.

Smell- Adjuncts, corn?

Taste- Adjunct taste but not very strong of it. Not sweet nor bitter

Mouth Feel- Carbonation, very thin and light.

Overall- Well its bland, but nothing off putting about it. It's almost like carbonated water. I really get almost no flavor from it. For just getting drunk it works well, at least I get drunk and don't have to cringe with each drink. This beer has a time and place.
