An affordable beer with a light refreshing taste at the end of that nice gulp. It is frowned upon by many people I know BUT most of them have never even tried it, go figure! This beer to me is refreshing after a long day. You can drink many and not get too wasted. This is a nice beer to enjoy. Go drink one with a open mind. (325 characters)

A-Fizzy, light, and yellow in color. Has tons of bubbles/carbonation and it is very clear.

S-Very watery smell.

T-Probably the most watery beer I have ever tasted.

M-Still watery...

Overall- Super light, tastes almost like a glass of water that someone accidentally spilled a little bit of their beer into. Not good at all. (328 characters)

A: The beer is crystal clear and very light yellow in color with a moderate amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a finger high bright white head that died down, leaving a thin layer of bubbles covering the surface and some lacing down the sides of the glass.
S: Light aromas of corn are present in the nose.
T: The taste is similar to the smell and has a slight amount of bitterness along with some hints of grain.
M: It feels light-bodied and watery on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: The taste of this beer is not very pleasant - it sort of tastes bad like a very skunked beer from a green bottle but what is really disappointing is this came from a can so it wasn't even spoiled by light. (728 characters)

Overall I did not care for this beer very much. It had a very skunky smell when i opened the can and the taste was a little like watered down. It might have been because it was a light instead of normal but I still did not care for it. The overall mouth feel was not very great either which is why i only gave it a 2 out of 5. (326 characters)

Despite the fact that everybody I knew in college drank this stuff by the gallon, this is only the second time I've had a Natty Light. It barely even looks like a beer-reminds me more of water from a rusty pipe, only with tons of carbonation. Smells of sugar and vegetables and tastes about the same, with the addition of a faint metallic aftertaste. Very, very thin body. (372 characters)

Why Not, I have not reviewed it- I heard great things from this one from the STCWB. Poured this 22 ounce can into a pint glass. This Light Lager poured a pale yellow color, produced an ultra thin white head, and featured piss poor retention. The aroma consisted of cereal grain and cooked veggies. Light in body, a foundation of thin malted grain, and a small dose of hops. Bottom line....this is Barely Beer. (409 characters)

Straight pour from a 12oz can to my nice Duvel Single tulip (roughly 33cl); born-on date of March 5, 2013 printed in black ink on the underside of the can (“05MAR13 BE06”). So, a little over a month old. Four and a half weeks, we’ll say—reasonably fresh.

Appearance (2.25): Pretty good head on this, yielding a good three fingers of crackly, bone-white foam composed of very fine and a few gurgling, fat bubbles. Not great retention—bubbles down at an okay rate, but it leaves essentially no lacing and very little on the surface. The body, meanwhile, is very, very pale, yellow-ish, and crystal-clear. Below average-looking body, above average-looking head. Retention is mediocre at best.

Smell (2.0): Some lightly sweet, cooked corn and sugar cookie scent, and just the slightest little bit of vegetal bitterness, like a faint, herbal snap closing things out. Pretty, y’know. Underwhelming, even for the style.

Taste (1.5): There’s . . . something. Somewhere in there, there’s a flavor. It’s like the water left in a pan of green beans at the high school cafeteria. But there’s a very, very low-level sweetness underneath, again something like a sugar cookie, but dissipated to to like 5 ppm. Afterwards, it leaves a vaguely vegetable-ish impression, more of that green bean water.

Mouthfeel (2.0): Well, I guess it’s easy to drink. Very subdued carbonation, foaming very lightly on the way down. Watery feel, very light-weight. It’s not offensive, just more of a . . . non-presence than anything else.

Overall (1.75): I’m thoroughly convinced that there are good AAL’s out there, but this, like many others, is marked more by its absence. It’s just not bringing anything, really, to the table. And you know what? It is what it is. But it’s a boring, slightly offensive, piece of shit. (1,829 characters)

Poured from can into a pint glass

Appearance- Pours a light straw color with a surprisingly small fizzy white head. The head fades quite fast leaving very little lacing and a thin layer of foam on the top of the brew.

Smell – The aroma is very light overall, but nothing is really off about it. It consists of a mix of bready, caramel and corn sugar smells.

Taste – The taste begins with a very watery light bready taste with a bit of caramel and corn. The corn grows stronger while the malt and caramel flavors grow weaker. Some flavors of a more paper and metallic flavor hit the tongue toward the middle and the end leaving a very dry and off aftertaste to linger on the tongue.

Mouthfeel –The body of the beer is very weak and watery with a carbonation level that is slightly on the higher side. Overall pretty appropriate for the style, but noting too exceptional.

Overall – Well… It is considered a frat brew beer for a reason. Cheap, cheap, cheap and not one to go to if you are looking for something with flavor, but if looking to party with and colleged aged then maybe… I'll leave it to others though. (1,128 characters)

This is what hell tastes like.

Pale, watery, dirty yellow look to this. Could pass as urine easily.

Smells fortunately like nothing. Given what it could smell like, this is a plus.

Tastes like creamed corn, overcooked vegetables, and seltzer water. No hop character. No malt character. Just no character of any sort. A big 0.

Light bodied, sort of crisp mouthfeel, gets real nasty when it warms up.

You could waterboard me with this stuff and I'd probably enjoy it more than drinking it. (492 characters)

Pretty good beer. It's affordable and Light. Doesn't taste much worst than Bud Light. If I was going to buy this or Bud Light I would buy Natural Light there is not much of a difference though Natural Light does have a watered down taste it is not as watery as keystone light and still around the same price.

This beer does not get you drunk unless you drink a 12 pack or something so it is a good beer for kicking back after work.

Has a nice refreshing feel when drinking just like drinking sparkling water.

The taste is easy and pretty smooth.

Overall this is a good macro beer definitely worth trying. (608 characters)

This beer is horrible! If you are familiar with Natural Ice (just as bad) then you should know that this is just a more dull and watered down version of that. The 'Light' part of this beer just made the 'Ice' version a lot worse. I wouldn't suggest and of the Natural beers because they are not well brewed. The cans are very boring and unattractive as well. (358 characters)

If you drink this, you are purely intending to get inebriated. As a college student, I see this a lot; but I cannot drink it. It's very easy to drink, however. But it's basically water. I don't think A-B intended it to be a good brew, just to be drank in mass consumption. (272 characters)

Aug 12 printed on bottom of can, freshness likely doesn't factor in here.

Poured into a pint, it's a pale sickly yellow, close to tea or water. Flimsy lid on the surface that fades to a patchy cirrus skim and no lace. Slow carb trails, a good sign after being in the freezer... to taste the cold, naturally.

Wet grain and sweet apple aroma, like watered down apple juice.

Papery grains and light sweet apple, dull and insipid, dry papery finish, though pretty clean. Astringent if over 35 degrees. When super cold it's not terrible, definitely have had worse. Quenching and non-intellectual. (594 characters)

I've had worse.

Straw pale yellow, clear pour. Watery. Head up front, soapy. It leaves

Stale corn husk aroma. Sweet sweat socks.

I suppose for the style, this flavor is off just a bit. Bland corn husk, dirty socks, vinegar. Harsh. Ick.

It does have carbonation, which is a life saver for this beer. Without it, the staleness of the malt flavor would linger too long. Well, it does anyway, but it would be even longer (422 characters)

A: Pale super-light yellow pour - perfectly clear. Big fluffy, fizzy white head.
Touch of fluffy lacing here and there.

S: Light sweet cereal grain.

T: Super light sweet cereal grain, maybe corn? Very little flavor but largely unoffensive.

M: It's water, more or less.

O: Cheap and crappy light lager, what do you expect. Almost no flavor or aroma. What little there is, isn't particulary good either. Bleh. (413 characters)

Everything about this beer says budget budget budget. It smells like molded water, taste like molded water, and does not give you a buzz. Obviously brewed with corn or other fillers

A - Light as can be

S - As mentioned before, like molded water, the smell is quite awful

T - Almost as if you are drinking salted water

M - No body or texture

O - I do not suggest drinking this beer, it can not be healthy (408 characters)

Smell- almost no smell. Faint hops. smells like a light beer

Taste - Faint hops and some malts towards the end

Mouthfeel - extremely light. good carbonation though

Overall - One of the better light beers. Easy to drink and very crisp. (388 characters)

Absolutely love it!!! My 1st choice when it comes to buying beer. Its cheap and for someone who drinks it like I do, thats a good thing. It's very good when its very cold but I could really care less. Not many people "bum" beer off of me because most folks dont drink it (270 characters)

This is one of my favorite session beers. It's inexpensive and easy to drink.

It pours a pale yellow with lots of carbonation.

Goes down extremely easily as long as its cold.

Taste like a cheap light beer should taste. Cheap and Light. Perfect for stock piling the cooler when camping or fishing in the summer.
Beware: You are certainly not going to impress anyone with Natty. (381 characters)

Disclaimer: You MUST drink this beer ice-cold. If not, don't bother at all. Poured from a tall boy ($1.39) into a fat flute.

Appearance: Clear piss color. Almost water... Just about completely transparent.

Smell: Contaminated water.

Taste: There's certainly *something* in there that isn't water, but it's hard to tell.

Mouthfeel: Lightest beer ever.

Overall: If this is all you can afford, don't drink tonight. The only redeeming quality I could really mention about this "beer" is that I could drink it at a moderate pace probably all day and not get myself into trouble. If it's 100 degrees out, and it's under ice in your cooler, and no one else contributed to the beer fund that day, forcing you to take care of it all, it MIGHT be an acceptable choice. MAYBE. (775 characters)

A:Light straw color
S: Smell of cereal grains, light alcohol wiff.
T: smooth taste a very light unoffensive beer. I can detect a head retension chemical. Doesn"t have the dish soap after taste like Miller and finishes better (dryer) than bud or coors, etc..
M: light mouthfeel finishes very light, nice

Overall value of this beer is a 5
18packs are 10.99 thats .61 each

This beer is near the top of the watery light lager catagory.

Here's why to drink this beer: You want fresh light bubbly refreshment on a hot day. It is perfect for that, so hence a five out of five. This is a basic no frills top quality refreshing warm/hot weather beer, or for when you want a water bubbly light beer. Perfection for that quality.
Plus, you can get three quarts for five dollars out the door. It's the go-to beer for bubbly watery beery refreshment. (405 characters)

The last time I had a Natty Light, I was trying to bounce a ping pong ball into a red Solo cup at the other end of the table. Natty Light is one of those beers that you drink because it's super cheap. It tastes like water that's been filtered through an old, rusty pipe. Nobody enjoys it, nobody likes it. They drink it because it goes down like Aquafina and they're still technically drinking "beer". But this is far from beer.

So pale of a straw color that it might as well be clear. Mild chill haze. No aroma... Oh, wait... I think I'm getting something... Smells like metal and corn. My favorite. Tastes a little like metal and corn, too. Very grainy and watery. It isn't so much offensive as it is basically nonexistent by any "beer" related metrics. Very nearly no smell, taste, color, and the mouth feel is akin to tap water with some carbonation. Overall, I'd suggest going to bed thirsty before wasting your time and money on this stuff. Yuck. (953 characters)

Had this beer a long time ago ( thankfully ) although I figured i'd give it a review based on what I could remember. I actually remember preferring Bud Light over this garbage. Anyway, Poured from a can into a lager glass. Pours a medium yellow with absolutely no head and no lacing whatsoever. Probably the blandest looking beer that I have ever seen. The smell...corn adjnuct. That's it. Literally, THAT is it. At least it smelled like something though I guess. The taste is of the lightest rice I have ever tasted, And perhaps some rotten asparagus?. Terrible. The mouthfeel is just a bunch of fizziness. The mouthfeel actually completely lacks flavors of any sort, Although with this beer, It isn't a bad thing! I'll give it a two simply for getting rid of those flavors!. Overall, This is THE blandest beer that I have ever had. WHY buy this? PBR is just as cheap and actually is pretty good. This beer should be discontinued as the only people who buy it are fake redneck's (979 characters)

I am going to go out on a limb and say this is not a terrible brew. I know that "haters" or "cool guys" on this site will hater, but I will just let haters hate.

The beer pours light orangey yellow, with a light thin layer of foam. Leave some lace on the glass as the foam subsides. The smell is of wheats and grains, and everything you could expect from the style. The taste is light, flavorful, and refreshing. This is a great beer for a hot day or mowing the lawn, nothing earth shattering but does not deserve all the hate it gets. (536 characters)
