This beer does get a bad rap however it does have its place. A very light brew that is cold and refreshing.
Excellent brew for hot summer days when tailgating at a ballpark munching down hotdogs.
Bring a 30 pack to BBQ and keep the IPA's stashed. Cheers.

Ahh, Natural Light. I'd never planned on writing this review, but some were left in my refrigerator and I felt strangely compelled.
A - Sickly yellow coloration with a tiny bit of froth which vanished from my pint glass. No visible lacing.
S - Harsh odor of must and a touch of grain.
T - Astringent and mostly flavorless. Even though the alcohol content is low you can still taste it over anything else.
M - Watery light body, sharp carbonation, unpleasant taste left on the tongue.
D - Makes most other macros taste like dessert. Avoid, unless at a frat party and in need of losing your sobriety.

A: light straw that looks like vegetable water that previous embraced a thick artichoke, thin and watery with urine notes
S: a cloying corn sweetness, with notes of some mild plastics and/or copper
T: It is like evian with drop of malt extract added, very light and with a mild vegetable finish on the palate
D: This beer soars in this aspect in the regard that it will take you about 4 of these to get you anywhere near a respectable beer will make you feel, with the offset being taste, embarrassment, and latent shame in the endeavor
M: incredibly light and it is forgotten before it is swallowed. it serves a purpose and I have outlived this purpose and this beer is of little utility to me.

I'm surprised at the number of bad reviews of this beer. Maybe it's because they all were of the canned variety. To me, any canned beer is far inferior to bottled -- unless somehow it was brewed to be enhanced by metallic taste.
But about this beer. It has flavor, decent balance of effervescence and body, and quite a bit of real beer substance, considering it's a light beer. I'm new to light beers, I admit, but I think I've found a decent brew here in Natural Light.

A- Very light straw color. Pours with a very large head of small white bubbles that fades quickly leaving no lacing.
S- Strange and off. Apples come through a bit along with corn and metal. Yuck.
T- Almost saved by how watery it is. There is the corn and metal from the nose but not the apple. Theres some sweetness that doesn't taste entirely unlike malt. The back end is metal and urine, forcing you to chug down more to wash it away.
M- Fairly high in carbonation and extremely watery this beer fortunately goes down quickly but isn't much different than water.
D- Well you could easily have 20 of these but who would want to? It does its job but in a very unpleasant way. Synonymous with bad beer for a good reason.

A - I actually am not even sure what Natty Light looks like, because why would I waste my time to pour it into a glass? However, when a freshman girl spills it all over my floor, it looks like my urine after a bad bout with the flu. It is very clear, which pays tribute to how much water is actually in it.
S - It smells like old corn. That is the best way I can describe it without mentioning the words: dorm room, musk, satan, or wet puzzle pieces.
T - The taste of aluminum and chalk dominates the front end, which tastes of a slight malt and corn. The back end tastes like a hot spoon of old corn.
M - Very carbonated, thin, water
O - After I drank Natural Light, I wept. All jokes aside, if you are looking for a beer that costs less than a dollar, there are many better options. In my opinion, similar beers such as Bud Light/Coors Light/Miller Light are better, just because of the water-to-corn ratio alone.

Can (like there's a difference). The appearance is it's best attribute; and it was unimpressive. The rest smells, tastes, and feels like (what I imagine to be) horse piss. Here's a tip: you're that hard up, go for Steel Reserve. Or better yet, quit drinking.

Poured from a can into a stein glass.
Look - very pale straw-like color with about 2 fingers of white foam that dissipates somewhat quickly. Decent carbonation.
Smell - smells very acrid and not well-mixed. Maybe a funky malt base, but I can't tell anything more from that.
Taste and Mouthfeel - less pungent than the smell. Mostly tasteless actually. Slight bitterness in the middle, but that fades quickly. Mostly just not very tasteful at all. Texture is pretty watery.
Overall - mostly a "meh" beer. It doesn't really taste like anything at all, but the smell was pretty bad. I'd avoid this if you want to actually taste and smell something.

I won't even bother to break down the categories on this one. Not much to say. Drank it once and I'll never touch it again. It looks like any other piss-water beer, and smells and tastes worse. Who decided a disgusting, watered down cheap-o beer needed a light version? I would use this trash as weed killer if I wasn't worried about it poisoning the soil.
Overall: Don't touch it unless you're a penniless, pathetic drunk with no standards for your beer.

Decided to finally give this a try just because I was strapped for cash and have been told only about how cheap it is.
I go to the local grab n go six pack shop and guess what? I get up to the counter with a 12 pack of cans and it's $9! What!? How is that cheap? I could have got any of the main macros such as Budweiser, Miller lite, or Coors for the same price. Hell I would have just stuck with PBR or Genesee for that price. I am already not impressed at all. I actually hesitated paying for it but just out of awkward embarrassment I went through with the transaction.
Now for the review.
Appearance: I gave a 1.5 because looking into the can, the beer looks like water diluted with just a little of a gold coloring. I dare not pour this into a glass...not worth the time or effort. Just crack it open and drink.
Smell: Smell from the can was pretty dull. Picked up alot of corn husk, a very light hit of sweet malts and just a tad of hops sneaks in. Nothing offensive, nothing appealing, just, well bland.
Taste: Claims to be a pilsner. Um...no. Not even the lightest pilsner. Not too much to it. Very water like. Corn husk up front followed by a little hit of sweet, sweet, slightly sour malts and a quick shot of hops. Tastes like what hops are used were probably used in other beers AB used and then just reused these for a small flavor and souring/bittering purpose. Not much going on here. I do have to say that there is nothing disgusting about it. It's a light, light beer.
Mouthfeel: Talk about carbonation. Damn. It's in your face. Highly carbonated beer. Very watery. Almost a mess. If this wasn't a light beer I would be thoroughly pissed off.
Well overall. It's not disgusting. I really don't want it again though. Just judging it solely as a light beer. It's not terrible. It is what it is. Although I'd recommend sticking with PBR light, Strohs Light, Blatz light, or hell even Miller lite if that's what floats your boat.

Poured from 12oz can. Had to try, as was handed to me. Was told "not bad for the price" Price does not matter. this is a bad beer. Highly carbonated, very dull in flavor, light straw color, and smell of American aluminum. Not kidding, guess it must be considered a beer, but really is not good. Spend an extra buck or two, you almost surely will do better.

Tasty Water. For a person who needs to drink more water, check this beer out. It's alcoholic water, but damn it's tasty and super fizzy. It's a very weak beer and serves it's purpose. It's for pounding back on those University pub pre-game nights and for cutting the grass out back. 12 cans is about 7 bucks US last I checked. A deal for sure and they're great for sessions I must add. It's not super boozy but alcoholic enough to give you what you want in a session. Cheers to Natural Light!

It's a rough beer to say the least, but it has its purpose in the beer market. It's an economy brand, not very artful or focussed on delivering the ultimate taste experience.
For me, Natty Light was not a part of my life after I graduated from college as my budget for beer could be increased after that time.
I don't think anyone honest will repesent this as a great tasting beer. It's brewed and priced to get beer into the hands of people who want to be refreshed and feel good but conserve funds for things they prioritize more highly.

Poured from a 12 ounce can into a half-liter beer glass.
Appearance: Pours with a very active, fizzy head. Perfect pour into the glass creates a nearly four-finger head which balloons just over the top of the glass. Beer is straw-colored, perhaps just a degree lighter in color than its contemporaries. Very light carbonation visible in the glass.
Smell: Not bad at all. Slightly sweet, grassy or earthy aroma. Almost no malt presence and very light on the hops. A hint of lemon-type flavor to the nose. Mostly unobtrusive, but better than average, I suppose.
Taste: Perfectly average. Hops are a touch more pronounced here, but not by much. This is a very plain drinker...which, in a way, is a good thing. At least no flavor means it doesn't taste *bad*.
Mouthfeel: Light, as the name suggests. Not very crisp, unless served at or near freezing. Goes down smoothly leaving room for something else to entice the palate.
Drinkability: Good. You could easily drink several of these at a cold temperature (low ABV and light flavor). Good beer for a barbecue or other type of dinner.
I like Natty Light. It's not a great beer, but you get what you pay for, which is momentary refreshment, so I can't complain.

i believe many folk don't like this brew even before they taste it! if this beer cost more than bud light it would be the more popular beer without a doubt! this is the first light beer...which is brewed by A-B. how much time and $ do you think A-B put into this product before releasing it?? with the bottomless pockets of the number 1 brewery in the world you should know that they are going to do their research and put put out the best product they can! don't be fooled by the low cost! when it comes to light beers A-B knew what they where doing bringing this out...long before bud light or select. enjoy a cold natural light and be happy you saved a few of your hard earned $.

A: Pale straw in color, with great clarity and decent lacing. Head retention, however, is pathetic.
S: creamed corn and apples are hardly perceptible.
T: Light flavor, but corn and apple are there.
M: Light body, medium carbonation, clean finish.
D: Nothing special, but no major flaws.

Taste very light, faint grassy hay-like flavor, faint malt teaser with a minor hop-pop that goes away after half a beer.
Let's face it, this is a lawnmower beer which doesn't taste like beer at all.
It's is a crisp, cold, and refreshing, highly carbonated, inexpensive Gatorade alternative. Very good Macro-swill beverage. I do not believe it is possible to get "wasted" drinking NL - there's just not enough abv. I've probably shotgunned 24 of these in 24 hour period without success.

S-Doesnt make you gag, but nothing great
T-Terrible, absolutely terrible
M- Bubbly and overpowering
D- Its a last resort beer

Natural Light has a very thick, white head and a clear, pale straw appearance, with a good amount of carbonation and a little bit of lacing left behind. The aroma is faint, sweet, and even eggy (but that aspect dissipated with the head). Taste is mild, bready, sweet, and it also has just the smallest amount of hop bite at the end. Mouth-feel is light and watery, and Natural Light finishes crisp, easy drinking, and refreshing. Overall, for light beer, it's alright.

Wow, I can't imagine anyone drinking this for the flavor because there is none. Horrible, but still not as bad as Corona or Bud for the simple fact that the carbonation overpowers any Beer flavor at all.
A: Not to be cliche but piss color. No lacing and a microscopic amount of head.
S: I really had a hard time smelling anything. Aluminum and faint barley.
T: The carbonation dominates the flavor of the beer completely. Bitter taste of hops and barley, no depth or real beer flavor at all. It tastes like soda water and Bud Light.
M: Once again, the carbonation leaves a fizzy feeling on your tongue, almost like after drinking really fresh cold Diet Coke.
D: I give it a 2 for the simple reason that the carbonation hides most of the flavor of the beer, thus slightly easier to chug down. I would still probably gag if I had to drink more of that crap though. Great beer if you want to get wasted.

WORST BEER I have ever tried in my life! Worse than Corona, BudMillerCoors, and most adjunct beers IMO.
A: Two second head. if you drink this you probably don't know what lacing is.
T: The taste of the aluminum can dominates any beer flavors present. Malt and hop flavors never made it in to the party. Besides aluminum, there are some corn and rice adjunct flavors in there.
M: Carbonated water
D: About the same as carbonated water. I don't think that counts.
The high point of this beer is its alcohol content. I remember being disappointed when I got this for free at frat parties in my early college years. I'm not sure this deserves to be called beer. I've tasted NA beers that were better than this.

As a college student, this is the most common beer found at parties. It is not good, at all, there are many more beers that are better than this, almost all other beers are better.
It smells like an average beer but the taste is not good. It is pretty easy to get "down", but for someone that enjoys tasting beer, this is not for you.

S: Spoiled water? Corn? It's hard to smell much of anything
T: Corn and water..Rice? There is hardly any taste to this beer
M: Just goes down and leaves nothing..
D: Some people could throw these down, 30 a night. But This would be hard to stomach for along time..

Poured from a 12oz can into a US tumbler pint glass.
A: The beer is a light yellow color, with a thin white head that fades quickly and leaves a very thin lace on the glass.
S: The aroma contains adjuncts, very light malts and a very faint bit of hops.
T: The taste starts out a light malt and adjunct sweetness followed by a mildly bready grain flavor. There isn't much of a hops presence at all. The after-taste is slightly sweet.
M: Crisp and a little smooth, light body, medium carbonation, finish is clean.
D: Not very flavorful even for the style, goes down easily and not too filling since there isn't a lot to the beer, very mild kick, it's poundable because of its lack of substance, but overall it's not a very good beer.

Was just thinking of it and this was my very first beer.
Pours a thin straw yellow color with a thick fizzy white head and very little lacing. Smells of corn and some little grain and hops extract. Tastes of sweet corn and a little grainy goodness. Mouthfeel is rather thin and it is watery. Drinkability is fair. The beer certainly has its place.
