My local, in-person trader, tone77, like to refer to me as The King of CANs, The Master of Aluminum, The Founder of Fun, ad infinitum and I usually just smile & gloss over it. Here, however, we have me a) adding this beer to the database; b) taking a pic & getting it approved & c) not just being the first to give it a score, but to also review it!
From the CAN: "Margarita With a Twist"; "Try It Over Ice!"
It was literally a half pint, coming in a wee tiny 8-fl. oz. CAN, so when I Crack!ed it open, I could not help but perform an inverted Glug. It would be empty as quickly as I started. Once it started pouring out, though, I began to laugh mirthfully. It was magenta & the head looked like fresh-spun pink cotton CANdy! OMFG! The head dissipated rather quickly, but what was in the glass was somewhere between beet juice & Friday's Nogne 0 Kriek of Telemark (a framboise). Color was magenta (SRM = N/A) with NE-quality clarity. Nose smelled like Pixie Stix powdered CANdy. Mouthfeel was kind of thin and watery. The taste was like a grape SweeTart, another CANdy allusion. Finish was likewise both sweet & tart, but not unpleasant. What I did not like, however, was how easy it was to drink something with 8% ABV. The CAN admonished me to "Drink Responsibly", but for a non-initiate, this could really be a lot of beer in a little bit of time. I don't remember the others in the series being that high in ABV, although I could be mistaken. I am climbing off of my soapbox now, but do be aware of what this packs if you try it for yourself.

25oz can shared amongst friends, hendry
Once again I can't understand the appeal here... or maybe I can: intensely sweet both with sugar/alcohol/artificial sugar and at 8% ABV it will wreck you. Beyond that, if you think too much about this brew your head and heart will hurt, I don't recommend it. Not that fans of this brew do a lot of thinking, and I'm trying to learn from these folks, genuinely, hence my pounding of this swill. Thumbs-up somehow

Bud Light Lime Grape-Ahh-Rita brewed by Anheuser-Busch, with an ABV of 8.00% This American Malt liquor pours out of a 25oz can into a pint beer glass. The color of this brew is a slight red/ purple also pink color with a small pink head. The head this brew goes away fast. There is little to no lacing to this brew. The smell is rich with grape an alcohol. Kinda reminds me of Grape cough syrup not saying that is a bad thing. Now for the taste, it is sweet, mixed with grape sweetness and alcohol. If you are a fan of grape, you should look this brew up. Kinda like a a grape punch if you will. For what it is worth, this is a nice easy drinking "beer". This brew would go nice on a hot summer day. The body of Bud Light Lime Grape-Ahh-Rita is a solid medium. There is nothing overpowering about this brew, it has a nice balance to it. This is definitely better than other "Ritas" on the market. The mouth feel is Bold, Rich , grape, Sweet, Clean and Refreshing. Overall I'm going to Bud Light Lime Grape-Ahh-Rita a solid 3 out of 5. I would look this brew up again if I wanted something other than "real" beer. Anheuser-Busch, did a ok job this grape style brew.

Appearance: This pours a clear cranberry color, not purple, as I would expect of grape. The head is small, and off-white, utterly vanishing in seconds. The carbonation is very sparse, and slow-rising.
Aroma: The aroma is like grape soda, with notes of cherry, as well. I could not detect any alcohol in the aroma.
Taste: The taste begins with grape flavor, though it seems understated. There are also notes of lime and cherry, and a dewberry flavor. What is surprisingly lacking in the taste is any strong alcohol presence, though there is a mild warming sensation. Considering the fruit flavors, and recalling other Bud Light Ritas that I have reviewed, this one does not seem as sweet, much less sweet than, say, Sangria wine. Finishes with cherry dewberry, and lime, and grape, more in a hint of the grape skin, than the fruit
Mouth feel: Fairly full, with slight carbonation.
Drinkability/notes: Its cheap, it doesn't seem that much like grape, but it is inoffensive.
Presentation: Packaged in an twenty-five ounce aluminum can, served in a Samuel Adams Boston Lager Senssory glass.

I don't understand why y'all feel the need to review this. It's bad beer that gave me the cheap buzz I needed. End of story

25 FL. OZ. can
Served in a pokal glass
This beverage pours a pinkish purple hue. It has no head and resembles pop.
The aroma is syrupy sweet with aromas of lime and grape.
It is really sweet with artificial grape flavor and sugar. The lime flavor tries to cut the sweetness to no avail.
Thin and effervescent mouthfeel
I should have bought one of those eight ounce cans. Twenty-five ounces is gonna be a tough to get down due to the sweetness. It sounded good on a hot, humid night. It is in moderation.

Grape-Ahh-Rita pours a reddish purple color, no head. Smells like dime a tap, tastes like dime a tap, with a big of sugar added. Very flat. Overall, tastes and feel like dime a tap, but even sweeter.
