First of all it is a brown bottle with a blue plastic wraper, i dont know if that does better then just brown bottles for UV light or what the reason was. It made me think of easter egg with srink wrap for adults.

A:looks like a lager with a little bit of blue food coloring, ble not with a blue head but a pinkish color
S&T:shocker, it smells like blueberries, almost like a fruit drink
M:very bubbly, but thin
D:not very drinkable. It has too much of a sweet fruity taste to be a lager. I had a had time finishing one bottle

12oz brown bottle (w/ born on date), wrapped with blue plastic label. As soon as I popped the cap, blueberries in the air. Poured it and WTF?! This has got to be the first blueberry beer that is actually colored blue (didn't A-B get the memo?). Well, it's not blue, more of a hazed cranberry juice hue, topped with an odd looking pink foaming frothy of a head that stick and has surprisingly good head retention. Despite the head retention, it's just doesn't look right.

Aroma is soft, with metallic and a dominant blueberry perfume nose that's a bit like a powdered drink. Hmm ...

Odd mouthfeel. Though there's carbonation, the feeling on the palate is death. Light, thin, with some dextrin body. Artificial sweetener flavor, with a blueberry character that wavers between real and fake as it hits with a slight twang, then a jelly / Jell-O / powdered drink flavor, then retreats into a dull malty / adjunct blandness and shows its macro backbone. Coarse, dusty, "wheaty" feel in the dry finish. Leaves you with a sense of blah.

Well, even A-B couldn't have had too much confidence with this absolute failure of a beer. They didn't even associate it with one of their major brands, or take this attempt at a blueberry beer seriously. To boot, I doubt many macro drinkers would even like this one. Avoid at all costs.

Ok, a blueberry beer. It's the first of the kind for me.

tasted at the Great American Beer Festival 2005. Didn't have full glass. Poured like any other medium ale, thinning head, dark 'pink' if that's a color. Smelled of blueberry right off the bat.

Taste. Light, thin and blueberry. Not a bad taste, but its different. Could probably only stomach one glass and not much more.

12 oz brown bottle with a blue plastic label wrapped around the glass, freshness date printed on the label. Odd tropical theme.

A- Nearly blood red in color and completely hazed over, thick pinkish purple head retains well. I noticed a lot of fine blueberry dreg on the bottle of the bottle.

S- Candy or jelly like blueberry aroma faint grain in the back.

T- It has that macro lager flavor, thin on malt but grainy with very little hop character. Blueberry flavor tasted processed and really does not meld well with the beer. Cloying sweetness in the finish.

M- Crisp with a bitty mouth feel from the blueberry particles.

D- After a few sips it gets nearly impossible to drink.

Who is the joker that came up with this beer, I staunchly recommend to you not to buy this beer ... you will be disappointed.
