During even the coldest of weather, warm up to the smooth, robust taste of our Winter's Bourbon Cask Ale. Full of rich aromas that you find in the winter months, hints of vanilla and flavorful hops, this is a beer that is great for pouring into a large tulip glass and enjoying with friends around a fireplace.

I had tried this beer when it firt came out and was pretty much in agreement with the mediocre rating. I've tried it again and either they made some improvements or I had a bad batch before.
The beer pours to a nice white head that does dissipate fairly quickly, and the nose is too subtle ay first but during the quaff the bourbon come through
The color is about whiskey and it has some carbonation.
The mouth has some viscosity and it leads to a pretty good sweetish finish.
This beer done stand-up to a little cooler serving but don't over do it.

If you didn't like it, that means you haven't tried it by the bucket with Buffalo wings and shepherd's pie! Doubt you'll find it anymore but a very close match is Frosted Sugar Cookie Imperial Ale by Southern Tier!

By far the best "winter" beer I've ever had. Hints of vanilla and bourbon, and very smooth and flavorful

I thought this was a great tasting beer. I've been searching for it. Guess I can stop the search.
