how can you call a beer a cask ale if it's in a bottle?
eh, macro people are funny...
it looks much lighter than a normal winter ale should.
it smells kind of strange like vanilla pudding with a shot of bourbon floating in the middle of it. it tastes overly sweet and has a weird bitter alcohol aftertaste, kind of reesty nasty weird aftertaste. it's kind of like having a vanilla bourbon and having the bourbon breath, only not so pleasant. it feels like a normal macrobrew in the mouth only sours your palate afterward. i'm not incredibly fond of this. if i wanted to eat pudding i'd eat some pudding, but i don't want to drink a beer that seems to strive to taste like pudding...
