Pours a transparent amber with a light tan head that has a mixture of fine bubbles with some tight thick foam in the center, good retention is the only help this gets to be average. No lacing finishes off this bland looking warmer. The nose smells of subtle caramel malt and raw vanilla. Some toasted bread presents it's self on the pallet, way too under malted and thin. Vanilla is in full force from the mid point and on through the finish,no bourbon or alcohol flavors are detectable. Soda like carbonation and a beyond thin mouthfeel are less than desirable. Not one of the better Winter Warmers out there, this won't be a holiday staple in my fridge.
