Poured from a 12 fl. oz. bottle marked 08291-DF94. The color was an attractive amber-red with a fizzy gray-beige head. The aroma was very complex and hard to define. It had a sort of grape-like, bready scent to it. It did not smell like a beer but it was interesting in its own way. A medium body. The taste was even stranger than the aroma with a kind of overpowering vanilla flavoring and a hint of hard liquor and nutmeg. That was the biggest turnoff for me. It came across as more of hard liquor so I was not impressed. It is not something I would go for a second time. It looked nice anyway!
