Poured from a bottle into a stein glass.
Look - slightly pale golden color, clear, with about half a finger's worth of off-white foam that dissipates quickly.
Smell - seems to smell more malty than hopy. Can't smell the Hallertau or Cascade hops.
Taste and Mouthfeel - definitely more hopy in taste, but it's a little more felt than tasted. A bitter bite and somewhat acrid taste (maybe from the alsace?). Pretty well balanced in texture, but leans a little more toward the watery side. Slightly bitter aftertaste.
Overall - not a bad brew, but not very interesting or intriguing.
