Bud Ice Light is typical of what you expect in an Anheuser- Busch product. It has the same light straw color, low foam level, and see- through clarity that A-B is known for. The aroma is also typical, with a pungent smell of lightly toasted corn and rice, but this time with the added scents of alcohol and household chemicals.
The taste of Bud Ice Light is weak, with the snappy flavor of rice and a small amount of cheap malt dominating. Bud Ice Light finishes bitter and acidic, with a chemical- like flavor that washes away quickly, leaving no aftertaste.
This beer is brewed using an ice process, but the alcohol level isnt high at all. It almost seems stupid to brew a beer using the ice process (which usually makes beer a little stronger) and then reduce the alcohol to make it officially a light product. Its a contradiction in terms, and it leads to a beer that is boring and bland in most every single way.
