A super pale yellow Pee-pee color with a medium fizzy white head that dissipated quickly and leaves no lacing.Aroma of light corn, alcohol and little else. Flavor is quite watery, corn and other adjuncts, not nearly as good as regular Bud Ice. Lots of carbonation, watery maothfeel, short finish of corn or vegetables.

Presentation: 12 oz clear glass twist off bottle, definitely a more expensive bottle being that it has the look of broken ice above and below the label rather tha a run of the mill brown bottle. “Born On” date on the side of the label.

Appearance: Pale yellow colour with an obvious clarity that is brought on by extended conditioning as well as ultra cold filtering. The head leaves nothing much at all other than a thin slowly dissolving white lace.

Smell: Neutral yet cloying corn and grain sweetness with a processed lager twang, relatively clean aroma all in all.

Taste: Very light in body with a straight up dryness from the get go. Clean on the palate, light smoothness and a big splash of crispness. Malt flavour is very thin with mild yet strained cereal grain flavours. Hops give a weak but quick bit of bitterness, nothing if the form of hop flavour and the bitterness is hastily to leave. Faded graininess is scrawny and tired. As soon as those flashes of flavour come through they fade to nearly nothing just as fast. After taste is virtually clean and gives little remnants that beer was ever in the mouth other than a hidden alcohol that slowly warms the body.

Notes: Not much there at all, take Bud Light and Bud Ice and meld them together. Not much difference at all, no point in drinking Bud Light or Bud Ice if this is around. That is not much consolation is it …

This thing smells better than its cousins, but don't be fooled. Near clear yellow fizz with a white head. Aroma is nice and sweet, like canned corn or frosted flakes. Sugary corn-water that is supposed to get you drunk faster. Just drink more Bud Light faster and avoid this corny mess.

Wow, can't believe they still make this. One of my underage drinking mainstays out in South Carolina. Anyways, light, very light yellow color, with a problem with clarity for such a beer. Largely absent beer smells in the aroma, mostly watered down fusel alcohol and corn smell.

Kind of a sweeter edge in the taste, everything is pretty thin, except for the boozy edge to it. Hopping, malt, not really existing in a significant enough manner to warrant a further discussion. Adjuncts frozen and scraped beer.

What's the point when you only end up at 4% abv? A session ice light beer? Well, "we'll let marketing worry about that."

This is a beer that is not as good as it's Bud Ice brother. The mouthfeel was borderline repulsive but it did go down easy...maybe because of the taste. But i guess if you like light ice beers it might be good for you. If something else is available on the menu however, I would suggest trying them over this beer.

Note to Bud: not everything has to have a "lite" counterpart. This stuff tastes aweful as a heavy. It tastes just as bad as a light, only not as strong. Must be the addition of the water.

This beer is so non-descript as to beg the question: Why? Mine was very cold and that further eliminated any discernable character, but I seriously doubt even at 10 degrees warmer there would be much. Why? Not being a scientist I really can't say for sure, however being a beer lover I can say that it is brewed from too much corn and not enough adjunct grains. Also, there is no discernable hop profile here...So little, if any, hops were imparted to this pedestrian brew. Again...Why?

Poured into a pint glass it was not terrible, had a nice light golden color and a smooth, even carbonation level I could see through the crystal clear glass. Decently done. Unfortunatly that is where the fun ended as light corn, musky wet hay and just a mess took over from there. Not cool at all. Too light and way overcarbonated, the cold only served to mask what was a near putrid flavor. Wet corn and grass, week old clippings and a mess of grain. Just nothing redeeming here at all.

Overall I could see why this is is the top ten worst beers, wow. .79 could have been spent on gum.

Going to make this one short. Drank a few the other day, and they were almost tasteless. Appearence was, yellow, slight head, fizzy and non chalant. Smell was just not there. Taste was lack luster and almost like water. Mouthfeel is light and easy to kick one back. Drinkability is decent due to the light carbonation and taste.

I would never drink one of these again.

The beer after its dispensing from the 12-ounce bottle sets in my glass a bleached gold color with a smallish frothy white head and the resultant lace a thin sheet to obscure the glass. Nose is prototypical lager; clean and crisp, start is sweet with a thin grain profile and the top skinny in feel. Finish is dastardly acidic, the hops light and the aftertaste bone dry, another of my long ago sampled beers.

Clear, palest yellow with a finger of white foam that quickly melts away to a skim. Light graininess and not much else in the nose. Taste is really light adjunct grain and faint hop bittering. Finishes dry and squeaky clean. Pretty easy to drink with a light, watery effervescent mouthfeel. I'm not sure why we need a "light ice" it kind of seems like a made up style.

Appearance: Clear pale golden color with a thin white head and slight, as AB beers go, carbonation. The lacing is minimal.

Aroma: Cooked corn, some washed-out hops and a whiff of alcohol, little aroma to speak of.

Taste: Sharp and aggressive carbonation ushers in the taste, followed by slightly sweet malt, crisp and mildly bitter hops, and a clean and dry finish. Unlike Bud Ice, the alcohol is much subtler.

Mouth feel: Aside from the sharp carbonation, reasonably pleasant.

Drinkability/notes: There is not much that can be said here, offers a quick buzz, but little character.

A great beer for a hot summer day after mowing the yard or doing some other hot sweaty yard work. Really has no aroma to speak of. The appearance is that of any macro American lager. Taste is watered down like any light macro. If your looking for a good refreshing macro, this is your pick.

A- Thin watery, clear pale yellow with thin white head, little retention, and spotty lace.

S- Corn, hay, grass, and earthy hints, faint hops

T- Sweet corn, grass, hay, notes of booze

M- Thin, watery, crisp, over carbonated

D- Boring, overcarbonated, and bland. Watery, and lacking in flavor.

Poured from a 12oz bottle into a US tumbler pint glass.

A: The beer is a pale yellow color, with a thin white head that fades quickly and leaves a thin lace on the glass.

S: The aroma is of adjuncts, light malts, grain and a very faint touch of hops.

T: The taste is bready and sweet with the typical adjunct and grain flavors that you normal get in this type of beer. There is very little hops bitterness and the malt character is about as thin as you can get. The after-taste is slightly sweet.

M: Crisp and a little smooth, light body, medium-to-high carbonation, finish is clean.

D: Not very flavorful, goes down quite easily and is not filling at all since there isn't very much to this beer, very mild kick, doesn't taste much different from regular Bud Light, yet another fizzy yellow beer from AB.

Many of my friends know that I enjoy beer, and for some reason people bring me stuff that they hate and are like "Hey, try this, it isn't any good!" Thanks for making me want to drink it.

Pours a light yellow with a small bubbly head that dissipated very quickly. Not much going on in the nose other than some light corn scent and alcohol. The taste is of a sweet filler flavor with a sour metallic twinge on it. Very very thin on the mouthfeel.

All I can say is that this is not good, and should be avoided at all costs. I should have known when one of friends that preaches the merits of Bud Light gave me this and said even he couldn't drink it.

Poured this 12 oz can into a pint glass. Poured a clear pale yellow color, produced a thin white head, poor retention , and no lacing left on the glass. The aroma of this Light Lager was mild, some corn and grain but not much else. Very light in body, smooth, some malted grain flavor, cereal grains, very dry finish. There are some mild hops present, but not much to talk about. Overall another poor quality, mass produced brew by AB that I hope to never drink again. Prost!

What? Uhhhhhhh...ok, well I was on Spring Break in Panama City, and they were 25 cents each. Surprisngly it is not completely offensive. It's a hell of a lot better than regular Bud. No flavor whatsoever, but it lacks the headache that accompanies Budweiser. And I assume its got less calories and more alcohol? Oh whoop-de-doooo. I took one for the team, and am not proud.

I have got to say... out of all of AB products, this has got to be one of the best. Straight forward light beer taste, with medium carbonation. Short lived head, when poured... I recommend drinking from the bottle. Mediocre flavors of corn are the high point of this brew. Great for a hot summer day. A decent brew in my opinion. As for Ice Beers, I must call this a very solid choice. Recommended if you are partial to Ice Beers.

Regular Bud Ice is already quite a weak beer. Having Bud Ice Light seems to be market saturation. This is probably the most watery beer I've ever had. Let me go into detail:

It pours a very pale straw color (regular Bud Ice has some color to it). The fizzy head disappears quickly. The smell isn't too bad. It smells very clean, and has a little malty/adjunct sweetness to it. The smell is probably stronger than the beer itself. I took a few small sips, and swished it around. Almost no taste, except a tiny bit of biterness. The following swigs went down quite easy. This beer feels and tastes watery, but there is a tiny bit of beer taste to remind you that this isn't really water.

I would recommend this beer to people who don't really like beer, because this stuff is basically alcoholic water. I gave it a higher drinkability level because it is easy to chug a few of these down in no time. Beware the higher alcohol content though. Doobie doobie doo...

as if bud ice could not be topped for complete lack of beer character, there was...bud ice light...smoother! crisper! less aftertaste (finish)! even less flavor! all this, and it could still even get the girls drunk when i was a kidddie? if there was ever a beer as bad as bud light, this is it. nirvana for alcoholic club soda lovers.

Served in a bottle at a "cowboy" bar. Yeah, right. Clear bottle, pale yellow stuff inside. No head.
Smell was horrible. Like stale straw in a stable. Not good. didn't want to taste it.
Taste is bad, alcohol and bitter rye flavor.
Felt like an oily sting on the tongue..did I get a bad one?
Just a step above rusty water, but only because of the alcohol.
Not good at all.

This beer pours a crystal clear yellow body with a tiny bubbly white head.

The nose, if there is any nose, is mostly rice or corn.

The taste is watered down corn alcohol. That’s about it. A very very slight bitterness. No hop flavor what so ever. Almost no malt taste, smooth, light bodied and surprisingly clean. No off flavors at all that actually make it a surprisingly drinkable macro.

I tend to like the “ice” beers more than the basic macros. The extra alcohol almost gives them a little more body and flavor, but not much. Basically with every sip of this beer I kept thinking to myself, “they should really change the word beer on the side of the bottle to corn flavored alcohol” But… if I’m gonna have a macro I’ll take this.

Pours a crappy looking thin straw yellow color with a thick white head and no lacing. Smells of corn and booze. Tastes of corn, oil, and maybe some hop extract. Mouthfeel is medium and it has a really hefty carbonation. Drinkability is really low and the beer is pretty nasty.

terrible beer. but then again, what did i expect? It smells like piss, and drinks like it too.

I dont get how people can buy cases of this shit and go home happy. It boggles the mind.

no hops, all corn and adjuncts. Id stay away from this one, even for the style.

never again.
