For an APA from A-B this is a very suitable selection. Better than I expected. I'm glad it ended up in the trade. Truth be told I liked this beer a lot better than 'Fat Angel' -APA from a micro brewer. So Anheuser-Busch did okay with this one. There is nothing glamorous or sexy about this beer. It really is nothing special (a bit forgettable) BUT it is approachable and inoffensive. Refreshing and tastes good. So when you want a nice cold one, this is a good choice. Here is the breakdown:
Appearance: Pours a light orange-ish color. decent white head. minimal lacing.
Smell: Mildly sweet. Pretty generic macro beer smell.
Taste: Pleasantly approachable. No Flavor actually stands out. It is a well blended semi-sweet APA with a bit of hops and a bit of malts that are well blended.
Mouthfeel: Thin mouthfeel but nicely carbonated. The carbonation helps create the feeling that there is a bit of body but if you hold the beer in your mouth for a minute it quickly fades. Still, it is quite refreshing. And not overly bitter (like many APA- in my experience).
Drinkability: This is definitely a session beer. This is easy drinking no thinking down 'em beer.
Hope this is helpful.
Thanks to tgbljb for the trade!

A somewhat dated 12 oz bottle from the back fo the refrigerator, wih the review tempered by memory from fresher bottles.
Look: surprisingly good, with a clear, deep amber body covered by a rather creamy looking, bone-colored head.
Aroma: earthy hops are stronger than the malt base
Flavor: again earthy hops over a sweet and light roast malt base but tainted with some metallic tones (attributed largely to age) and hints of corn.
Feel: Medium body with a very good carbonation level.
O: given a fresh bottle, not bad; even roughly average and, therefore, better than expected.
