I was very interested to try this "Pale Ale" after I read in the accompanying literature that it is "brewed with Pacific Northwest Hallertau, Saaz, and Tettnang." Last I knew those were all continental (as in European continent) and although they are grown here, are not generally referred to as "Pacific Northwest" hops.
This beer pours orange, with a light orange head. The head remains better than is typical for A-B beers, but not nearly as long as almost any micro.
Since aroma is a big part of a Pale Ale, I took my time to examine the expected symphony of smells and found.... nothing. Aroma is almost absent, and they claim to have "dry hopped with saaz." The saaz spiciness is lacking in both aroma and flavor, so I guess their hopping rates are still well below craft and homebrew.
Flavor is unremarkable. Not much in the way of hops; the malt is a bit carmelly and finishes sweet. There is a bit of a bitter edge from early hop additions, but not enough to offset the sweetness to bring this beer into balance.

A somewhat dated 12 oz bottle from the back fo the refrigerator, wih the review tempered by memory from fresher bottles.
Look: surprisingly good, with a clear, deep amber body covered by a rather creamy looking, bone-colored head.
Aroma: earthy hops are stronger than the malt base
Flavor: again earthy hops over a sweet and light roast malt base but tainted with some metallic tones (attributed largely to age) and hints of corn.
Feel: Medium body with a very good carbonation level.
O: given a fresh bottle, not bad; even roughly average and, therefore, better than expected.
