Presentation: Poured from a 12oz clear bottle into a pint glass.
Appearance: The head is bright white in color, fizzy and fades out quickly leaving no head. Its body is pale and light yellow in color with excellent clarity.
Smell: The aroma has a mild citrus lime with light grains and something that reminds me of aloe.
Taste/Mouth feel: Its flavor has mild lime citrus and light grains on a smooth slippery palate. The carbonation is balanced to the light body and the finish is crisp and dry.
Notes: Its very refreshing an highly drinkable.

Bottle pours a transparent body with a hint of pale yellow. Tiny white head quickly vanishes without a trace. Aroma is actually pleasant and inviting, until I remember this is supposed to be a beer. Smells like fresh lime, saltines, and lemon Pez. A nice aroma for something other than a beer. Taste is very light, seltzery, and watery. Pez lemon candy, accented by a Zesta saltine with a twist of fresh lime and a healthy dose of tonic water. A fizzy, lemony, beverage that is a decent thirst quencher if nothing else is available.

Appearance: 1 inch head, light gold in color, clear, high carbonation
Smell: This smells like lime soda..Lots of lime candy.
Taste: key lime, sugar, and very minimal beer taste--but just enough to make you realize this is not soda.
Mouthfeel: high carbonation, super light bodied, sweet
Overall: This one is not offensive especially on a hot day. However, it moreso tastes like lime soda than beer. To its credit, it does not have some of the nasty chemical taste that other lime beers have though. There is only an inkling that lets you know hey--this is beer. I find I would drink this after a really dry beer, but would otherwise pass. I did try to grade this to style and in comparison to most in the style, it is drinkable.

Thanks to travita for sharing this bottle.
The beer pours a clear yellow color with a white head. The aroma is heavy on the lime with a little salt. It smells like a margarita. The flavor is heavy on the lime with a tad bit of sweetness. Light mouthfeel and medium carbonation. Not terrible, but not something I wish to try again.

This was free at a recent marathon runner's expo. Normally, the best tasting beer is free beer, but this one really shut that theory down. Poured a pale, translucent gold with a smallish wispy head. Head quickly disappears, I guess, running away from the lime-cactus additive. Lime dominates the nose and taste of this brew. Really light, ultra light on taste. Mostly just overcarbonation and alcohol is all you notice. Would drink again if free, but doubtful that I'd ever purposely purchase this one.

Alright not so much like real beer but it's a good alco pop lime cactus with beer flavor. Ultra thin in the pour head dwindles quick sounds a like a wave settling no bubbles or lacing left behind only apple juice like appearance exists. Aroma has a strong citrus and mild tequila like note bringing back that Tequiza trip all over again. Flavor this time around is not as bad as I recall Tequiza, citrus zing stings the back of the throat heavy carbonation hits home and it's not bad poured but it definitely tastes better and more lime and cactus like straight outta the bottle. Girls dig this stuff, mouthfeel is of carbonated water really really fizzy. Drinkability is a one and done novelty type of thing for me, I definitely couldn't stomach the acidity of the lime flavor in session.

I can see it all now....quite clearly....every macro brewer and his dog has gotta get on the bandwagon and do some kinda premix Corona w/lime concoction.
I'm a itttle embarassed to say.... I kinda liked this stuff. It is in the same vein as Miller's god awful Chill but as someone else mentioned, this one is actually balanced in some wierd way. Yes it is a beer for "nonbeer drinkers" but nonetheless I found it to be a refreshing "nonbeer".
Thats about it.... "think Corona Light w/lime" but maybe a little sweetness going on.
Can't say I'd refuse it if offered to me but I know I won't be seeking it out unless my girlfriend likes it. I probably oughta not let her know about this one.

A: Pours a clear, light yellow color with a small white head that is gone in an instant, no lacing.
S: There is a slight lime aroma and really not much else. Slight grainy malt aroma.
T: A little more lime and another flavor that I can only assume is the cactus. Slightly zesty.
M: Light bodied with medium carbonation.
O: Not as bad as I thought it would be, the lime and cactus actually work kind of well together, but still not very good.

A - Light yellow with a slightly green cast. The head is brief and small, and some fizz is left on the glass.
S - Limey and salty. Smells like Corona with a huge amount of lime juice and salt.
T - Tastes pretty much like it smells. reminds me of Bud Light Lime and Miller Chill. What's up with this new lime trend?
M - Thin an fizzy. Pretty much feels like a weak lager.
D - Not altogether horrible. I can see how some people would really dig this. My wife bought a six pack of this, and I killed a few while mowing the lawn. After pushing that mower around in the heat, these went down easy.

A - pale gold with a very thin, fizzy white head that quickly fades away.
S - sugary artificial lime
T - artificial lime, a hint of sugar
M - crisp, light bodied, a bit over carbonated
It is what it is. It's too sweet for me, but ultimately it achieves what it set out to achieve. A fruity light lager that you can pound.

Do you remember a decade back when "clear" food products were in? There was even the ill-fated (and pretty horrible) Miller Clear. Well, it seems that we've got that going all over again with the addition of lime to all sorts of food products, but let's keep to beer. It started decades ago with the lime in Corona. Malternatives came around. A-B introduced Tequiza. It laid dormant for a while, and now Miller's introduced "Chill". Now comes Ultra Lime Cactus, but I have to say, except for jamming a wedge of lime in a bottle of cerveza Mexicana, I like this one the best. It's delicately sweet, it's delicately tart; it's got flavors of lime and a bit of cactus (I'm not really sure what that is); and it's light and easy to drink. It may not offer enough to bring you back for more than one or two, but isn't that the Michelob Ultra drinker anyway? And it's not overly sweet like Mike's Hard Mike-Arita, or overdone with agave like Tequiza, or too salty like Miller Chill. Nope, this one's perfectly balanced. It's just light beer with a touch of sweetish lime to soften and smooth it up. I'd never pass up a crisp pils for this, but during a hot day on the greens, or while slaving over the coals at the family 4th of July party, I'd gladly knock back one - maybe two.

Mich Ultra Cactus Lime is a perfect hot summer lawn mower beer. It is very refreshing, but it is not a beer for beer snobs. The attempt by Mich Ultra to hit the Corona & Lime is quite nice. The color is clear golden with good carbonation....not much head. The smell is lime/syrup....the taste is also dominated by lime. The mouthfeel is fine....perfect for hot days...like at Disney World for example.
