My aunt drinks this....

Poured out of a 12 oz bottle into a cylinder style glass.

A) Pale yellow. Inch of white foam. No retention or lacing.

S) Really is nonexistent, maybe a little sweetness.

T) Follows the nose pretty closely. There is some corn and green grape, but it really is almost flavorless.

M) It is ultra light with moderate carbonation. Thin and unpleasant is about as complimentary as I can get.

O) How does my aunt drink this...

A: The beer pours a very pale yellow color with a short lived white head.

S: Like your usual light lager, plenty of corn and corn syrup. There's quite a bit of straw in there as well. It's very sweet with a little bit of white grape juice and some added sugar. Pretty much no malt.

T: Not shockingly, it's sweet, very sweet. Definitely some apple as well as the typical corn, corn syrup, and sugar. A somewhat cidery taste with a light tartness. It's also a touch watery.

M: The body is very light with medium carbonation.

O: While the flavor wasn't really good, it wasn't offensive. I suppose that counts as some sort of moral victory.

Found in a beer tub at a back yard BBQ. Used for "flippy cup" drinking game.

nearly clear, very bubbly. clean crisp watery.

Bland flavor and the after taste is crisp boorishness.

I'm surprised this beer has 4.20 abv! That's kind of high for what I was expecting.

I would avoid drinking this beer in the future. Very bad beer.

I call this beer MC ULTRA, after the u.s. government’s brainwashing experiments in the 70s (codename: MK ULTRA). In part because I figure you must be brainwashed to drink this! There’s no aroma, no flavor, really, there’s nothing to this beer. As blasphemous as this sounds you’d be better off mixing a craft beer with sparkling water if you wanted a low-calorie alternative with flavor. Otherwise it’s just not worth it. Don’t drink it!

Poured into 10oz pilsener glass. Poured a thin yellow color, the beer was very clean and clear with about a half-inch of white head that had low retention and very light lacing.

The aroma had just a light scent of grain and the faintest whiff of hops. The flavor was the same, just a bit weaker. The body was very thin, even considering the style. The beer was easily drinkable, but so is water. Overall, this is a decent example of the style. It would probably make a decent electrolyte replacement beverage after some hard work or play. But as a beer, why bother? It has all the peeing with none of the fun.

Poured a 2" white soap suds head which faded really fast. Clear straw yellow color. Faintest little grass smell. Taste is kind of like dirty seltzer water. So THIS is 95 calories? You're better off drinking plain clean water than this seltzer water out of a dirty glass.

A - Watered down straw color. Pours like a ginger ale; lots of head and carbonation, then nothing.

S - Aroma is a a little sour. Hints of apple and corn.

T - Very watery. The back end even tastes a bit sour. Leaves an almost oily residue behind. Almost no flavor at all.

M - After the first few sips, this beer goes completwly flat. And since its flavor is watery to begin with, the feel is no different.

O - If you are actually drinking this beer while dieting, I'm sure it would be fine for you, but if you are looking for a tastey sessionable light lager, this is something very worthy of a session, but very much lacking in the flavor department.

It pours a light straw color with a very quickly fading bright white head with lots of bubbles. The smell is of grass and grain. It is very smooth, watery with the taste of grass and grain. The mouthfeel is decent with lots of nice bubbles, very light body and very smooth. A very drinkable beer, but just no flavor. If you're spending the day on a boat then this beer works, otherwise leave it alone.

You can't get much lighter then a Mic Ultra. The color is quite clear and the foam fades away quite quickly. The smell and taste are not too spectacular/there isn't much of either. I would take a Bud Light over this however Ultras or not bad on a hot summer day. They don't fill you up or weigh you down. If you ever get that "uggh, I just drank a fat beer" feeling, you won't get that here. It goes down and feels like water in your belly.

I stopped at the beer distributor to pick up a case, I got a Stoudt's sampler case, and then were giving away free samples of these. I figured I might as well take one and review it since I would never EVER waste my money on this.

A: This may be the lightest colored beer I have ever seen. Extremely pale yellow with a head that died in under a second. No lacing.

S: Sweetness and adjunct grains in the aroma. Virtually no smell though, it is hard to detect.

T: The taste is extremely sweet. There are some better adjunct flavors here than I expected. Sweetness dominates, but there is also a husky corn type flavor.

M: Pretty typical macro mouthfeel. Lots of carbonation and a very watery type feel.

O: Mass produced garbage. I am glad it was a free sample. Not the best, but hey, it's still beer.

Review from notes.

A: Mich Ultra is a very light yellow with a small white head that has very little retention and leaves practically no lacing.

S: Some corn and grain, but overall lacking in aroma. Not much going on.

T: Similar to the aroma, very boring with a little bit of grain, corn, and a light sweetness, but thats it.

M: Light bodied with moderate carbonation. Very thin and water like.

O: Basically a water with few ingredients thrown in. Its only saving grace is that it is refreshing, but only because it is essentially water.

A: Wow, its as clear as water. It doesnt even refract light, its like a magic trick. Very clear and yellow.

S: At first it smelt a little like bad breath. But even that disappeared and i was left with little more than light corn and grass smell.

T: As light as they come, and its not bad for the light lager style. Very airy and smooth. Its meant for drinking fast, because there isnt anything to notice in the beer. Which for some, probably sells this beer.

M: Light smooth and refreshing, im serious.

O: Its just slightly more engaging than drinking water. If you had a choice, this isnt the worst example of the light lager style, but it doesnt have anything going for it. Its a run of the mill average beer in the mix with huge macro beers that ussually will run marketing circles around it. But, its better than the big macro lights, but not by much.

A head formed but disapeared quickly forming a faint ring around the glass. Very light straw yellow body. Looks quite carbonated.

Smells like your typical macro beer. Grain, cereal, faint grass, a weak apple aroma as well.

Carbonated water with grain, cereal, apple and grass. Very boring beer, I guess, okay, for a light beer.

Feels like carbonated water. Very prickly. Not much else.

If you want a light beer... Drink Miller Lite. Weak light beer. Boring by all means.

Garbage at best. Ugly Champagne bubbly color with 1 finger same color head that receded quickly leaving no film to speak of. It looked like a light beer, drank like a light beer and tasted like water with a side of bland bread. It had a boring and long lasting bad mouth feel that was even unpleasant to think about even today.

12oz bottle poured into pint glass

Pours completely clear, almost colorless minus a slight urine yellow shade. White head fizzles out into a splotch of film without any lacing. It almost looks like water...

Practically no scent whatsoever. Slight hint of grain and unflavored cereal.

Wow, this is practically laughable. This is possibly the most flavorless beer I've ever had, as an extremely thin corn and grain base barely pokes through. Some bitterness and dryness in the finish, if you can call it that.

Basically seltzer water, thin and watery with a prickly, rough carbonation. This is one of the sorriest excuses for beer I've ever tasted, and the complete lack of flavor is enough to make Bud Light seem like Dark Lord. If you're on a diet, drink water, not this.

The next cheap beer available this last week at the beach. This one compliments of my brother-in-law and his wife. Can poured into a glass (not sure why I bothered). I thought the Bud I recently had was the palest beer out there, but this one is even paler. Looks like honey-water. No head at all. Nose is weak with grains and butter. The mouth is crisp - its only redeeming quality. The flavor, if you can call it that, is muted with flavors of hay, faint citrus. I dropped a lime in the last half of this bad boy to help my finishing it. I'd rather have water.

I keep a few around for company who insist on a light BMC. They're getting old so I decided to pop one for myself. Not a bad idea actually. Nothing like grounding my taste buds once in a while.
Do I have to go through the rating process?
Suffice it to say it poured a very pale yellow into a pilsner glass.
Taste not all that bad if you can call it taste.
How can something non-existent be horrible?
Rhetorical question.
Quenched my thirst and I'm still here.
I'm not going to bother keeping these things around anymore.

Served from the bottle.

Perhaps the palest beer I've ever laid my eyes on. Almost cream yellow. No head, no lacing.

Smelled like... nothing. Nada. Zilch. Zip. Perhaps some faint alcohol spice.

Tasted like... malty water. No hops to speak of, no interesting malty tones, just slightly malty water. Makes it easy to drink though.

Speaking of drinkability. It's pretty easy to swallow/chug. That's about all it is good for: getting drunk.

Overall, this is a boring barely beer.

First had: ?

If you're trying to cut your carbs, you might as well just buy a case of bottled water. Pours a very pale color between straw and clear, with some carbonation, and a thin layer of bubbles on top. Not much in the nose; some faint stale grain noticeable. Same on the tongue, with barely any noticeable taste, other than stale grain, skunk, and what could be conceived as a hop. Extremely light and watery, and goes down the same. To be avoided.

As they say - it is what it is - a low calorie light lager. I thought a lot of the calories in beer were from the alcohol - but this beer will make you think the calories were in the flavor - because this beer has no taste. Way too much carbonation and little substance. Don't reach for this beer unless you are on a diet - even then you may just want to have water instead.

My stepdad left a few at my house, so here I am.

A - Pours a transparent yellow with tons of carbonation rising up from the bottom. No lacing or head.

S - A big hit of corn, rice, and bread. Nothing really else, almost a vegetable-oil smell

T - A sweet corn/rice blend that fades as soon as it touches the tongue. Not really anything else

M - crisp, very thin and watery

Overall - Just a very bland beer. I didn't find anything offensive about it really, it just provided nothing to speak of.

a - extremely pale yellow, almost no color at all. lots of foamy white head upon pouring, but dissipated quickly. no lacing.

s - stale grain.

t - having a really hard time picking out anything at all. fleeting moments of malted corn maybe? might be the least offensive beer i've ever tasted due to the complete lack of flavor.

m - water is thicker than this. lots of carbonation to make it feel like you're actually drinking something.

d - could probably drink quite a few of these and not even notice, but that's the point isn't it? if this were my only option for booze i'd just stay sober.

Light as light can be and completely see-through. Lots of visible bubbles. Descent head forms but is gone in an instant. No lacing.

Ultra clean smell. Mild bread grains and corn.

Flavor is bland, to the ultra! Just the faintest hint of rice and corn. Nearly indetectable leaf-like hop leaves an empty void on my tongue. I could honestly get more flavor out of putting a teaspoonful of dry rice in 12 ounces of sparkling water. Pretty pathetic.

Super light feel. No thicker than water. At least the carbonation gives me something mildly interesting.

Overall, unless you completely dislike the taste of beer, avoid this gimmicky, unsatisfying, overpriced garbage in a can. The only good thing I can say about it is that there is no repulsive flavor which is not hard to accomplish when there is no flavor at all.

S-mild smells. gains, corn and other wheat. The cheap stuff.

T- The taste is impacting with carbonation, but evens out uywith the watery maltness of this beer. Watery, baldn, and smooth.

A - Pours an extremely clear pale yellow. Lighter than yellow. Almost like lemon juice, but extremely clear. Very active carbonation and a pristine white head, which quickly disappeared.

S - Not very strong nose on this one. Smells of barley, and a sweetness that I can only assume is corn, but it is not 100% distinguishable.

T - Sweet and waterly. The initial taste is a mix of oatmeal and polenta that has been watered down. Not trying to bash this beer, it just does not have strong and pronounced flavors. There is a cereal like quality to it, think Cheerios. There is a slight metallic taste, very slight, and another wave of sweet corn washes over the tongue. The aftertaste is all Cheerios.

M - Thin, watery. The carbonation is so active in the glass I am surprised at how flat it feels going down. I suppose it is because there is not much body to keep the carbonation in place.

O - Epic fail. I've never been a fan of "light" beer. The only time I ever drank a steady supply of it was because we were playing drinking games in college, and you could plow through an 18 pack and still drink more after the game. I would usually opt for Coors Light, but really any light beer would work. This one is a big step below even those beers. The only thing going for this beer is that it is "low carb" however, I've never seen anyone just drink one or two of these. People finish the 12 pack, which really doesn't make it a low carb beer.
