You know you're not exactly lighting the world on fire when you put out a beer and you do your damnedest to hide that you're the actual purveyors of said beer. I'm thinking "wild hop" oooh, this might be nice.

Pours out looking like something lesser than a red ale, that's for sure, but nothing glaringly horrific, its just not red. Aroma, massively lacking hops. Like, they're barely there, and you can't smell them.

Taste, bland, boring. No hops. That's what brought me to the dance, and they stood me up. Mouthfeel, actually a bit thicker than you would expect looking at it. Overall, this beer was a disappointment, and nowhere near worth $7 a 6 pack.

No idea this was a BMC brew when I picked it up from the Whole Foods slush pile.

Pours a somewhat amber-ish gold. Smells a bit earthy, maybe some pine, but not much of an aroma.

Taste is fairly watery and flat. Again, some muted pine-y hop notes, but mostly just some weak malt. Mouthfeel is decent.

Eh. If only I had known. Damn indistinct labeling!

Green Valley Brewing Wild Hop Lager is a light amber colored beer with a sand colored head that fades to a dense foam and leaves nice tea-leaf pattern lacing on the glass. The malt seems to be the only thing in the aroma. It smells sweet, simple and boozy. I can't really find any hops in the aroma. There is a slightly fresh earth tone that I thought was from the yeast, but it's a lager yeast, so... It is very soft with a light-by-medium body. It leaves the tongue crisply and in an acidic manner, like taking a bit out of an apple. There is slight evidence that hops were used-- mainly in the acidic finish. The flavor is pretty nondescript; perhaps papery, grainy, possibly lemony. No off-flavors, really. Not bad, A-B! This whips the ass of a Bud but isn't quite into Sam Adams territory.

A : Pours a light copper with a decent white head that leaves a little lacing behind

S : Decent malt aroma, nothing else

T : Not much going on. Mainly has the amber taste of malts. Bad aftertaste

M : Crisp and clean

D : Not bad for a Bud beer but that's not saying too much.

Had to try this since they slapped the organic sticker on it - not worth it really. Poured a dark amber that had a decent head and minimal lacings. Faint sweet malts in the aroma like caramel, but where are the hops. Very low on the hops in the smell dept. and there's nothing real discernable about them. Nothing of real note about the beer. Had a watery, thin-bodied feel that felt like cinnamon on my taste buds. I mean to say that there was no sweetness or hop bite at all except for a little spicy tingle that leaves a dry feeling on the backbite. I just don't see the point of buying this macro organic beer when local breweries make the same thing but better.

Picked this beer up at the Cheese shop at the bottom of Hunter Mountain. Good selection, of cheese and beer!

A - Nothing spectacular, poured into a frosty pilsner glass from a 12 oz. bottle. Pours a clear apricot color with a watery 1/2 inch head that settled pretty quickly.

S - Nothing spectacular here either...it didn't smell bad, but I didn't get tons of hops...really looked and smelled more like a typical macro brewed lager.

T - Do I dare - nothing spectacular...good, but more along the lines of a good lager, not to be chosen if you're looking for an abundance of hops.

M&D - Crisp and clean, good cold, with no mouthcoating or weird aftertaste. Pretty typical.

I think someone may have forgotten to proof the final label draft - this wasn't Wild Hop, more like Mild Hop...but, with that said, I'd take one of these over any other Anheuser-Busch beer

Randomly found this at a organic store.
Pours light amber brown with a light, white one inch head.

Pretty good hoppy aroma.

Smooth hoppy taste, good mouthfeel and very drinkable. seems ideal for a hot day.

All in all a pretty tasty beer. Perhaps brand isn't everything.

Clear and amber with small head, some lace. The smell is of hops &grains. The taste is actually better than most of the A.B beers. It tastes of light hops, caramel and some grain. Nothing complex here, just another decent brew with good marketing. Nothing wrong with marketing a product. It feels light with some carbonation and for me, just too watery. Not wild or any real hops. Maybe one day the "King of Beers " will come up with something to rave about, but not today.

Note: I would not turn it down at a gathering, what can be worse than Wild Blueberry.

Despite what others have said this beer is a perfectly clean tasting example of an american light.I would recommend this beer with a hot dog and a baseball game. Unlike the mass produced beers that can have a bitter after taste this craftbrew is very clean tasting and is the about the same price as the large leading brands. The part of this beers that fails is the marketing.I was let down and probably others that there is no distinctive Hop taste in the beer unlike the name states WILD HOPS, which is misleading.Don'y buy this beer if you are looking for a hopped flavored beer but if you need a thirst quenching american lager on a hot summer day after cutting the grass.

Medium gold body, crystal clear, wisps of head and no lacing.

A decent amount of barley malt, enough for an aroma anyways, very faint hops.

Clean and crisp mouthfeel but not as drying as it should be. Very well carbonated for what it is.

Eh. I don't think I would pick this one up again.

Tried this at the A-B Fort Collins brewery.

A - A clear amber brew resides underneath a bone-white one finger head that deposits abundant lace on the glass.

S - Light caramel malts with no real hop notes to speak of. Smells a bit like Amber Bock.

T - Twangy fruit flavors along with an anemic hop note. More spicey than hoppy. Wimpy.

M - Extremely carbonated with a very dry finish. This in probably the best thing about this brew.

D - Not bad, it's just boring and bland. And not really hoppy either.
