Notes & Commercial Description:
Beer added by: Bitterbill on 12-04-2007

We’ve shaken up traditional tastes by brewing a spiced Belgian-style wheat ale with real orange, lemon and lime peels, and then added a little coriander spice to the mix. This uniquely-crafted and award-winning ale is unfiltered to create a brew that is naturally cloudy with a light golden color and a smooth, refreshing finish.

Served from a 341ml Bottle

A: Cloudy orange color typical of a Wit. Extremely fast dying head which was quiet disappointing. No lacing whatsoever.

S: Very little aroma. A little bit of coriander and some orange peel.

T: Pretty light tasting. Not much on the tongue. Initially some coriander and orange hits the tongue but it fades very quickly into that typical Michelob grainy displeasing after taste. Next to no hops at all and there was no bitter taste.

M: Fairly smooth and carbonation is pleasing for this style of beer.

O: Something for the average BMC to enjoy and break out from their standard beers from but not my thing. It could be a good lawnmower or porch beer but it was forgettable for me. Pretty watery and bland overall.

This beer pours a hazy straw golden colour that disipates rather quickly. Smells off. Orange zest and ketchup. Why ketchup? Tastes like Campbell's tomato soup with crackers. Aftertase is nice, though, with an orange zesty flavour. Mouthfeel is light to medium bodied. Overall, a beer I'll never be drinking again.

I prefer Blue Moon personally, when comparing orange flavored beers. I do agree with the gentlemen below me, Honey Boo Boo loves butter A LOT

I dont see it as much buttery though, I think the citrus counterbalances that with tartness. Its a good beer, but it's better in a glass
