I keep stealing bad beer while visiting friends and family in Cleveland. I guess a tick's a tick, and as long as I never have to pay for these abominations, I can find some amount of enjoyment in the exploration.

Drank straight from the bottle because damn, there's no way this beer was meant to be consumed in any other way. I imagine that this is marketed as a Corona alternative without the hassle of having to provide your own lime.

A - Clear bottle - yikes. Bottle date is Julian or some other cryptic code, I am sure AB never intended the market audience to be scrutinizing over when their BL Lime was born. The beer is urine yellow for lack of a better color descriptor. At the bottom of the bottom there was some visible floating sediment. At first I thought it was actually yeast, but I doubt AB bottle conditions anything they produce. This has got to be lime in my bottle...

S - Doughy malt and fizzy lime. Pretty uninteresting. But hey, it wasn't foul.

T - Sheesh, how do people drink these beers. The lime is there, and the beer is crisp, but after debating about the resemblance to 7-Up I finally came to the conclusion that this tastes like lime flavored mineral water. No malt, no grain, no hops - mineral water.

M - The carbonation is too high for a beer, but the crispness might be better suited on an 80 degree beach somewhere.

O - Not as horrible as I imagined, but this has little to no real characteristics of beer. With subsequent sips the lime begins to taste stale; it lingers. Hand me a Perrier to wash away the shame this beer has cast upon self-respecting mineral waters.

Pale straw/golden color. Almost green, ironically enough. Stark-white soapy head that doesn't last and leaves no lacing.

Smells lik barley malt, grains, and loads of lime. The lime is predominant in the aroma.

The taste is clean carbonated water, a punch of lime flavoring and sourness, then the rest and the aftertaste are both mainly just barley malt, white breadiness, and maybe some adjuncts.

It's crisp, clean, refreshing, dry, and perfect for a party, warm weather, and just about anything else.

I tried this from the 7oz bottle in a tumbler.

The color is very pale golden with a fluffy white cap the is now you see it now you don't. There is no lace and lots of micro bubbles quicky rise to the surface. The smell is citrus-lime infused with a light clean overall aroma, kind of seltzery with a slight sweet scent. The feel is light in body with an almost watery body with prickly carbonation and subtle tanginess from the lime with very gentle astringent aspect, dry and clean in the sparkling gassy finish.

The flavor is better than I expected. I have had this before and was not sure how I felt. The flavor is so light it is like having a lime flavored alka-seltzer practically. There is a sweet tinge from whatever malt there is in this. The lime flavor is a gentle addition to the light beer taste, not overdone and freshens the slightly dull crisp taste a bit. Overall it is more of a drink for refreshing the palate on a hot summer day after mowing than a beverage to enjoy the day after Christmas, but for the price it isn't terrible

I poured this out of a can. It pours a golden pale color. It pours little head that is not what I am looking for in any beer that should be good.

The smell is heavily of lime/citrus. thats all. not great for a beer.

It tastes of water and lime/citrus. Its watered down like bud light, but it has an overwhelming taste of citrus.

It makes me want tacos; not taco bell but the authentic mexican tacos with cilantro and lime on the beef/pulled pork.

The mouthfeel is too harsh and too carbonated for my taste.

Overall, its pretty acceptable but not great by any means. I will drink it every once in awhile.
