22 ounce bottle from La Bodega in Riverside, CA., purchased in November 2008 for $4.39(?).
Pours a clear amber with a big bubbly head. Th e head drops to a decent cover after a few minutes, leaving a nice looking beer.
Aroma is weak in my Samuel Adams bulb glass. Amber-like malt and a crisp hop ending. Decent, but weak.
Flavor is malty and very clean. A crisp hop bite with lemon zest finish. Mouthfeel is thin, almost watery.
A decent effort from a big brewer, nice, but not something I probably would drink very often.
