Budweiser 5 of 5 from "Budweiser at Ben's" Dec 20th 2008.
First was Bud Light, then Bud Select, third came Bud Light Lime, 4th was Budweiser, and now for the grand finale!
4 AB beers down, 1 to go. I have to say, this is a much more enjoyable experience then I thought it would be. That could be a product of the environment, but I won't get into that.
The first thing I noticed about this beer, was the bottle. It bares a striking resemblance to a lint roller. Don't ask why thats just what comes to mind.
To color is auburn and red, with off-white head that leaves a nice lace behind. Aroma is grainy (almost like fresh dough) with fruitiness, spiciness and bitterness. Taste is of caramel maltiness, very rich and smooth, definitely a surprise.
I enjoyed this most of the 5, and I hope you would too. I will look into trying this again, starting with a fresh palate. But overall, this is something I can definitely see myself drinking in the future.
