Not a bad pour in my Sam Adams glass...sorry AB. Two finger head, pure white, dense foam, lasted about two minutes, leaving a semi cling foam. Color is a 6 on the SRM beer color chart and not really very red. Smell is distinctly roasted rye, with a touch of malt and wheat. Taste is muted, with flavors of rye bread, oatmeal, corn, dried rice and a tinge of grapefruit. Mouthfeel is thin and watery, some carbonation to zap my upper palate, but a coating of phlegm that was a bit sour. Not a beer that I would try again unless someone gave it to me, and I drank it not to hurt their feelings.
