12oz bottle into a pint glass.
Pours a nice red/dark amber with a pretty good sized white head that recedes to a ring of lace.
Smell is at first only caramel malt followed by a whiff of hops. Bready and mildly citrusy.
Taste is more of the same. Bready but light malt backbone and a bit of citrusy hop notes. Only slightly metallic in the finish.
Overall, I'm impressed. Well balanced and highly drinkable. Exactly what I want from an amber/red ale. Lets hope AB branches out even farther and makes some more good examples of all our beloved styles.
