I chose this over some nice brews at Beehive in Boston's South End. I had to be fair...
Looks legit, some suspended malt in the cloudy amber body. Decent 1/2 finger head that soon fades to a ring, but (get this) leave some islands of lace as a ceiling.
Wait, I smell hops! A bitter, cheap variety, but there's also a zesty lemon spritz, albeit faint. Malt is uninspiring in both scent and taste. In fact, the taste doesn't surpass my expectations by as far as the smell does. Malt is uncomplex; they cut a corner in the selection of barley. But there are bitter hops in the background and a bit of spice.
Very drinkable, a total upgrade from traditional BMCs for a long night at the bar! Begrudgingly, congrats to a former American macro.

Anheuser-Busch's attempt make a better beer, it has better quality than it's large scale production brethren. It pours clear golden, light foamy head, with lacings, and average carbonation. It lacks aroma, has an average ale taste with the major taste being hops. It has no edge, is refreshing, and leaves a hops aftertaste.
