I really wanted to give this one a shot with an open mind by being blind to the label and just judging this brew based on the beer inside the bottle.
Appears a semi-transparent copper toned amber with a small white head that quickly fades into a mild cap. Spotty lacing is left around the glass.
Smell is metallic up front, with cut grass, wet hay, and mild citrus notes.
Taste is of the same, uninspiring, wet metal flavor which was hopped by some skunk weed, cut grass, and herbs...pretty gross.
Mouthfeel is medium bodied, metallic, sweet, and bitter with a toasty nuttiness coming through in the finish.
I appreciate the effort of A-B trying to go outside the norm but it really didn't do it for me.
