I have tried several of the specialty beers from AB in years past. Most were very disappointing. I purchased a 6er of this on sale with some reservation
I poured this to see a foamy medium head and dark cloudy brown. Nothing wrong with that.
The nose is sweet yeasty and caramel.
Taste is true to the wheat beer type. Sweet yet tangy, with caramel and malt. There could be a little coffee at the end. Mouthfeel has a good bite to it as well.
Overall, a very easy to drink beer. When I looked in the bottom of the bottle and saw yeast settling out, this is a sea change for AB.
