Poured from 12oz bottle. Review from notes.
A- Pours a semi-hazy lighter amber color. Little 1/2 finger white head that dies almost right away. No real lacing to speak of...everything just slides back into the glass.
S- Sweet smell right off the bat. I would even throw out some apricot off scents in there. There was a sweet malt smell coming from this beer as well. No real Hop or Wheat scents with this in the nose. This kind of threw me off.
T- Very malty tasting right from the get go. There is no wheat or hop taste in this beer at all. There is a light bready note floating around this big caramel sweet body. No real hops until a light dash in the tail end of this beer. Not really bitter but more earthy than anything. The apricot smell turned into a light taste in the middle of this beer.
M- Light mouthfeel. Carbonation is good for the beer. Sickly sweet malts left on the palate and in the aftertaste. The end of this beer gets a little tough and chewy to me. It could be because I didn't want to finish it.
D- The way this beer is now...I would not want another one. Maybe if this comes back out this next year I will retry it. As far as right now goes though...this is crap and should not be drank as is. Oh and change the name A-B...it can be confusing for people thinking they are buying a hoppy beer.
