A: Pours a clear sunshine gold with a tight, yellowish-white head that left no lace.
S: You can really catch the malt in the nose, as well as some floral notes and a fruity sweetness of green grapes. It says it's made with orange blossom honey, and it actually delivers: the beer tastes like a handful of sweet, fragrant petals.
T: Bready malts are there, but understated, as is the wheat character. A very light amount of hops and bitterness hits at the swallow, and a slight but enjoyable tanginess clings to the sides of the tongue. The sweetness of the honey, the floral character, the wheat--it all balances very well.
M: Light and spritzy.
D: Much more than I expected from Michelob. The flavors are subtle and well-balanced--a perfect summer beer.
