Poured from a 12 oz bottle into nonic pint glass.
A - Dirty yellow/orange/brown color with a decent amount of appropriate haze. About a half inch of head rises with fairly short retention, falling to a thin cap. Minimal lacing.
S - Very reminiscent of the Blue Moon/Shock Top beers except perhaps a little heavier on the spice and lighter on the wheat/malt. Simple but appealing bright orange peel with a smidge of wheaty-ness with some coriander-like spice in the background.
T - Again, a lighter, less wheaty version of similar macro-esque witbiers. Orange peel comes on quickly with moderate strength, though the flavor dies down a bit into some uninteresting, almost tangy wheat malt. Spice hits mid to late palate providing a decent contrast to the citrus. Flavor dies down quickly and Golden Wheat finishes with just a hint of the orange and spice. It's not bad at all, but I wish it was a little more substantial and longer lasting; a smidge bolder.
M - I know it's Bud LIGHT Golden Wheat after all, but the mouthfeel keeps the brew bogged down a bit. Moderate to high carbonation with watery texture. The carbonation level is actually working for me, but instead of simply being light bodied it's flat out watery, which doesn't allow Golden Wheat to carry it's flavor well.
D - When all is said and done, this is a perfectly drinkable beer and a fantastic alternative to other macro products out there. For the price, I would definitely purchase this in the future as a beer to have a few of after having a few beers. Overall BLGW is inoffensive and "tasty" in it's own way.

I remember when this beer came out on the market. It was a non filtered wheat beer bud Anheuser Busch. It was a light brown in color. Not a bad taste. It was something different than the every day bud light or Budweiser. It is a shame they do not brew this beer anymore. This beer was an easy drinking drak light beer. I also remember you had to roll the bottle because beer had stuff floating in the bottom. Overall I gave this beer a 3
