I have one of these left sitting lonely at the back of the fridge. Thought I'd take time to give it a fair shot.

Appearance (1) - poured into a glass. nothing. No lace, no head.

Smell (1.5) - Smell is faint but includes whiifs of stale cornbread, malts, mildewy grain. Some corn husks. The core of which is wrapped up in an artificial adjunct dextrin smell.

Taste (2) - a cornbread seltzer that quickly evaporates into plain water and then, mysteriously...vanishes. If you drink beers fast, it goes down smooth. I like the fizz, its exciting like pop rocks. But for character and taste, this beer has nothing. Slight malt and slight husk. A mildly artificial sweet adjuncty finish.

Mouthfeel (2) - Fizz. Aaaaand More fizz. Water. Easy drinking and refreshing so it gets 2 points. Mixes great with tomato juice.

Overall (1.62) - a true light beer cut in half. 2.4% ABV, 55 calories. So a 1/4 of a real beer. Naturally a terrible beer OR a refreshing mildly alcoholic seltzer, depending on how you look at it. Good for those who dont like the taste of beer or extremely hot days when you want to pound two or three in five minutes without consequence (enjoyment?) of taste. Again, easy drinking, Ill give it that.

While I am still questing to knock out as many of the Beers of Fame as I possibly can, it is also interesting to review the Bottom of the Barrel beers, the anti-Beers of Fame. These are some the most awful beers known to mankind. I will not put as much effort into these reviews as I would a legitimate brew, but it is still fun nonetheless.

This beer pours the color of watered down urine. Side poured from a bottle into a pint glass. Has a nasty, soapy head that goes from huge to nonexistent very quickly. Smells like metal shavings. Tastes like it looks, I wish it tasted like it smelled. Mouthfeel is highly carbonated, almost nonexistent. Overall, a terrible attempt at making beer drinking a healthy past time. Just like turkey bacon sucks, so does this beer.

This tastes like some sort of slightly alcoholic, grainy water. It is the most tasteless beer I have ever encountered. If you want to avoid carbs and calories, and also like lower alcohol levels, and also do not care AT ALL about taste, than this is your beer. If you care about taste, this is simply not on the table.
