Presentation: 12oz brown screw-cap bottle with that classic "Bud" label.
Appearance: Medium-golden bright beer, with just a touch of stark-white head that quickly disappears.
Smell: Very light sweet malt, nothing else really.
Taste: Very light malt with a slight crisp smooth bitterness on the finish. This is the epitome of simple.
Mouthfeel: Light and smooth.
Drinkability: Fairly high, but Bud has always seemed to sit a little heavy in my stomach, no matter what my friends say.
Conclusion: Light, thirst-quenching, and quaffable...there's nothing offensive here really...because there's really nothing here...

Bought a 30 pack from Wegmans Calkins Rd on 7/31/14. Poured into a glass tumbler, served ice cold.
appearance: palest yellow with a 1 finger pure white head. vigorous bubbles. no lacing.
smell: very mild with just the faintest aroma of noble hops and sour yeast.
taste: faint sweetness is well balanced with equally faint bitterness. Finish is clean with a seltzer like spritz.
overall: the overall impression is that this beer is engineered to be the least offensive beer possible; no strong flavors, no off flavors, very mild taste. I'm guessing endless marketing and testing has created a beer that will offend no one. If you are looking for an alcoholic beverage that is easy to drink and that gives the drinker the notion that they are drinking beer then this is it. Really it is alcoholic seltzer water that faintly resembles beer.
