Appearance: Pours a straw golden color with a small off white head that entirely disappears within a minute or two. The carbonation consists of numerous fast-rising streams. The lacing is thin and scattered.
Aroma: Crisp, clean aroma of malt and faint hops.
Taste: The taste begins with a little malt and some soft carbonation, weak hops appear toward the middle of the taste. Crisp and clean finish.
Mouth feel: Fairly soft, but a bit thin with a seltzer-like feel to the carbonation.
Drinkbility/notes: In my attempt to assess this beer fairly, I cannot say that it is terrible. Budweiser is brewed with the aim of being palatable to the largest possible audience, and so it is. Unsurpassed in mediocrity, Budweiser neither offends nor excels. And perhaps that is how it should be.
Presentation: Packaged in a twelve-ounce brown glass bottle with a twist-off crown, served in a standard tap glass.
Serving type: bottle
