Budweiser pours a clear golden color with a moderate, white creamy head on top. The foam fades away quickly leaving behind a few spots and lines of lace on the glass. Rising from the bottom is a flurry of tiny bubbles. For a lot of people this is the image they have in their head when they think of a beer.
The aroma is light with notes of corn, light cereal and pale malt.
This light bodied beer is watery on the palate with moderate carbonation. The flavor is sweet with a touch of bitterness. Cereal and corn are followed by a touch of grass at the end. Once gone the corn flavor lingers on the palate. There's not a lot of flavor to this beer, but what is there is bland.
I hardly ever drink Bud. This can came from a party I was at recently and got me thinking that I never reviewed it on BA, so I brought one home.
