Night of the macros round 2. A friend left some of AB's red in the fridge so I'll do my duty here and put off the Brooklyn Winter tasting for another day. Unfortunately (?) he didn't leave ony of the blue for me to compare so it will just have to stand up to High Life and Stroh's tonight.
12oz. fridge temp can into a room temp weizen glass. The pour gives about 1.5" of dense white foam which sloowly relaxes to a 1/4" of mixed bubbes, a little lace sticks to the glass. The beer is a clear straw, a hair more golden than the High Life.
Aroma is cooked corn and herbal hop. There is a hint of grain but it is crushed by the scent of corn. Overall it's pretty faint, a good thing.
First impression of the flavor is "where is it?". Some carbonation bite (not much) and some metal. I try to reset my palate by tossing back a handful of peanuts. No dice. More cold carbonation with foam across the tongue. Some echoes of the aroma. Slight bitterness in a quick dry finish. My memory tells me this is a good thing as I am used to a rancid metal flavor in Bud that I hate.
Mouthfeel is light and fizzy. Easy to drink, would be better with less carbonation (or more flavor!).

16 oz bottle served in a pint glass.
Pours with a somewhat fizzy white head, excellent clarity, and plenty of visible carbonation.
Feel: Light watery body; crisp, coarse carbonation
Very mild bready aroma; floral; faint hint of hops
Flavor: decent lager flavor but too little of it and more rice than I prefer.
