Poured into a perfect pint.

A: Straw yellow, two finger head retains moderately, some minor lacing, lots of carbonation.

S: Grainy sweetness, rice adjunct twang, reminds me of a divey college bar.

T: Definitely get the rice adjunct, generalized sweet graininess, moderately bitter hops, light malts, watered down flavor, a bit of of adjunct twang on the finish, lingering sweet grain.

M: Very lively carbonation, very thin and light bodied, very refreshing.

O: For some reason, this stuff sometimes gives me horrible hangovers and terrible headaches, really not the case with any other macro lager I've had. Its drinkable, but I usually opt for others of the style before this one.

Reviewed from memory - I've had this monstrosity several times over the years, but more recently Caesar's Palace in Las Vegas.

I don't know how anyone tolerates this. Now keep in mind I'm a high-end craft beer lover but have an appreciation for classics such as Pabst and Miller High Life. So I'm not biased just because it's a "macro".

I drank this straight out of the bottle. Smell's skunky, tastes funky. I thought perhaps I was drinking an old bottle, but I remember it always tasting like this in the past. I struggled to finish it, but I paid $6 for it so felt obligated.

Folks - if you're on a budget I can name several macros that are more suitable - the above mentioned PBR and Miller High Life, even Coors Light is preferable. AVOID at all costs.

330ml can. Lager glass. Enjoyed on sep´11. Pale straw color, crystal clear appearance. White, rocky, large bubbled, overcarbonated, head. Yeasty & slightly sulphur aromas, subtle honey touch. Enters smooth & sweet. Fruity in the middle. Smooth dry bitter finish. Light body resolves in an easy drinkability.

From 05/23//12 notes. Poured from a 12 oz. bottle into a pint glass.

a - Pours a bright, golden yellow color that is very transparent, one finger of fluffy white head that lasts for one to two minutes, and high carbonation evident. No lacing left on the glass and no head retention at all. A bright shade of yellow then Bud Light.

s - Smells of corn, grains, wheat, and light sweet pale malts. Not much going on at all, but not skunky like some other light lagers.

t - Tastes of corn, lightly sweet, grains, bread, and wheat. Again, not offensive but nothing going on. Not skunky at all. I prefer Bud light as this had a little more vegetable and corn to it.

m - Light body and low to moderate carbonation. Light, watery mouthfeel.

o - Overall I would slightly prefer a Bud Light or BL Platinum to this probably, but they're pretty much all the same. All better choices than anything Miller makes.

A: Pours a crystal clear pale golden yellow in color with some moderate amounts of visible carbonation. The beer has a finger tall bright white head that quickly dissipates to nothing. No lacing is observed.

S: Aromas of adjunct malts really dominate but this beer has a light to moderate overall aroma - the adjunct malts smell like rice and grain. There is a very faint grassy hop smell as well.

T: The beer has a lot of adjunct malt flavors - grains and rice. There is a surprising amount of bitterness and not as much sweetness as I had expected.

M: Light bodied with heavy amounts of carbonation. Thin and watery.

O: Not one of the best examples of the style and not one of my favorite styles - something in this beer always give me an immediate headache (which is also something that even fine champagne does). The beer is easy to drink and sessionable.
