Brewed using a blend of imported and classic American aroma hops, and a blend of barley malts and rice. Budweiser is brewed with time-honored methods including “kraeusening” for natural carbonation and Beechwood aging, which results in unparalleled balance and character.

Serving size is the beautifully decorated, red 24 oz can from my local supermarket.

Ap: Nothing extraordinary. The typical transparent straw yellow color that we all associate with adjunct lagers. Mild carbonation with a thin amount of head that fades away quickly. Lacing is virtually non-existent.

Ar: Very faint sugary note. Tiny presence of candy like apple. Nothing impressive.

Mf: Refreshing while remaining very thin and watery. The carbonation is pronounced and takes over what little flavor is there. It always makes me crave a Perrier.

Ov: Bud isn't horrible. It is refreshing, readily available, tasty and inexpensive. It is the go to adjunct Lager when you can afford a few pennies more than Busch or PBR. I never understood why so many flock to Bud Light. It's worth sacrificing a few calories to enjoy a more robust flavor and receive a mild kick from the 5.0% abv. At least this tastes like a beer. Certainly nothing spectacular, but it also doesn't deserve all the hate. If I'm at a sporting event or at a party, I won't shy away from bud. There is always a better beer but not necessarily at this price. Cheers!

This is a Budweiser. It's infinitely better than Bud Light, and by far the best of the big American macro-lagers. You know what you are getting when you buy it. It's not going to surprise you, and that's part of the charm. Comparing it to your favorite Russian Imperial Stout is missing the point entirely.

Living in St. Louis for the past three years has perhaps colored my opinion, but anybody who drinks Miller or Coors or even Heineken over this is a fool.

24oz big can

Poured into a pint glass, look is water with two drops of yellow food coloring. A sudsy head that surprised me with some lacing. Smell is almost non-existant, pushing my nose into the can, I can pick up some malt and a tiny bit of hop spice. Not too bad of a scent, if you can pick it up. Taste is corn, wheat, and a hint of bitter that I assume is the hops. It's inoffensive but utterly lacking. Basically, what you'd expect. At least it's not Bud Lite. Mouthfeel is all water with a slight malty finish.

Not bad as a refreshment, but fails as a beer. Something I would only drink if there's no other choice.

King of beers! Who gave them that label. I guess when you have so much money you can give yourself whatever label you want. Anyways, you know what this smells and tastes like so no point describing it. It's drinkable, but not enjoyable. I enjoy the commercials though!
