Notes/Commercial Description:
Natural Ice is brewed with a blend of premium American-grown and imported hops and a combination of malt and corn that lends Natural Ice its delicate sweetness. It then undergoes Anheuser-Busch’s exclusive ice-brewing process, which takes the beer to a temperature below freezing and leads to the formation of ice crystals which create its signature rich and smooth taste.

A: Straw, pale, no head.

S: Not much at all, positive or negative. Slight corn and alcohol.

T: Pretty crisp and clean. Corn taste with slight alcohol at the end. Finishes clean and dry.

M: Medium bodied.

O: Not very high, but the point of this beer is to get blasted quick and cheap, not taste.

Poured a 24oz can into a frozen mug.

1. Has a pale straw color. One finger head that disappeared before i even took a sip. Left a little lacing on the glass.

2. Smells kind of sour, like old bread, and I can smell a little alcohol, barely.

3. Tastes like corn and alcohol.

4. Feels overcarbonated.

5. Drinkable if Ice cold, Had to force the second half down though.

Pours brilliantly clear dark yellow with a thick 2 finger soapy head that quickly dissipates to a thin sheen.

Aroma is like soap or disinfectant. What the hell?

Taste is very light pale malt and sweet then sour corn adjunct. No bitterness to be found.

Mouthfeel is very light with an odd soap quality that coats the tongue.

Even though I am grading to the style this one is bad.

Poured a very thin straw yellow with fizzy white head, very typical Macro.

The smell is awful, Smells like a soaked pair of socks that have air dried for a week.

Thankfully the taste is slightly less offensive than the smell, still not good. A dull tinny malt flavor, slightly sweet with and odd bitterness and a strange mustyness blending in for a poor flavor experience.

The mouthfeel is thin and watery.

Not good, not good at all.

Nati Ice Ok this has to be one of the worst beers i have ever had.

It is akin to another AB product Cobra Malt Liquor. Nothing about this beer is subtle to start off the smell reminds me of water collected from the runoff of a stagnant river, preferably one with a diesel slick .

Taste- Think of the Dew forming on a garbage bag on a July morning or possibly maggot urine.

Mouth feel- What i would imagine ether or gasoline would feel like if mixed with seltzer .

Drink-ability- I wanted to hold my nose and get it done with.

Final thoughts - This beer was made for a cheap buzz it's very close to Cobra and made for college students and those who just want to get wasted. Not that there is anything wrong with that. However with the variety of other cheap beers on the market you can do better.

Appearance: Boring pale yellow with no foam or carbonation.

Smell: Pretty bad smell. Bitter, much more so than Keystone Ice. Stale and gross. Still, it's not as bad as Keystone in this category.

Taste/Mouthfeel: In this category, Natty Ice improves Keystone Ice. It stays equally as gross throughout, making it less extreme and more balanced than Keystone.

Drinkability: I guess when shotgunning? I've heard even that's awful.

Overall: Like I said, Natty Ice tastes more temperant than Keystone Ice, but smells worse.

I like Natural Ice very much! And now it is the only beer I will drink, here's why. Most beer gives me a serious headache when I drink more than one or two servings, so I basically had to quit drinking beer. Then I found Natural Ice! I don't know what Anheuser-Busch did that's different, but thanks to their creation of Natural Ice, I can drink beer again.

Natural Ice has a crisp clean, slightly sweet taste and the carbonation isn't too light or too heavy. Also, I did a test with Natural Ice by leaving a half of a tall can in the refrigerator for two days, obviously-open. Most beer would be good and flat by then, but not Natural Ice. After the two days open in the fridge, I poured it into a clear glass and it had almost as much head as a freshly opened beer. I drank it and it was still great. Any other beer I would have poured down the drain.

This stuff looks, smells, tastes etc. . . like the liquid that gets trapped at the bottom of the garbage, with more clarity.

Its not even good for kitsch value. Pour water in a kid's sweetened sugar, let it ferment. Grow a mullet, wear the suitcase on your head after you brag about how many of these you can drink. Natural Ice voila!

Seriously, I think AB sends out people to file beer reviews of this stuff. To each his own, but certain things can't all be under the rubric, there has to be some quantifiable fact.

Positives: cheap, sweetness not offensive, almost 6% and mild tasting, easy to drink mouthfeel not offensive.

Cons: weak representation of 'beer'.

Smells like banana bubble gum.

Taste is sweet bubble gum and alcohol.

This might be popular with the kids with all of that sticky sweetness. It ain't for me.

If they were giving these away for free at the beer store, I would drop mine in the box for starving children.

Appearance- Pale and nearly colorless.

Smell- Honestly little more than alcohol. Underwhelming.

Taste- The alcohol in this brew is definitely noticeable, but not in a good way. Not completely tasteless like some low quality beers, but the taste is not desireable in any way.

Mouthfeel- Thin and watery. Weak carbonation. Alcoholic warmth though.

Drinkability- Nice bang for your buck. Good price/alcohol ratio if that's what floats your boat.

Pours a light yellow color, nice carbonation, small white head, with some sticky lacing left behind. The nose is malty, with some hops, slight caramel. The taste is slightly sweet, malty, slight hop note. Light body. Not drinkable, would not buy again.

Natural ICE is Made by Anheuser Busch is an ICE Beer with an ABV of 5.9. This is a good cheap priced ICE beer. The drink ability of this beer is ok. Not the best but not the worst. When I low on cash I go for good old Natty ICE. Natural ICE has more of a kick to it than Natural Light. Great price for a ICE beer

Natural Ice has a deep, golden color and a standard head. I has somewhat lower carbonation than a typical American-style lager. Natty Ice has a mild, pleasant aroma and tastes very good. This beer feels good in the mouth and going down. It's got good body and a bite to it. Overall, I'd say it's one of the, if not the best, value priced (Anheuser-Busch's words) ice beer on the market. For what one gets, it's a bargain. It goes well with just about any hardy foods.

Poured from a 24 ounce glass. Yellow, golden color. No head and no carbonation. Corn, butter like smell. Nothing special about the taste, normal corn, rice and some green grass flavors. I am drinking this very cold since it is a Ice beer. Mouthfeel is pretty water like. Do not reach for this brew on purpose.

Anfriend that was over gave me a tall of this. Normally, I wouldn't even pour this into one of my glasses, but had to. It pours pale yellow with a head that rises and settles just as fast. The smell is almost unbearable. Metallic, faintly malty, with some notes of laundry detergent. The taste is just about the same. Soapy, astringent, and unpleasant. Malt is minimal, with some hints of fresh bread and toffee, but the medicinal, cough syrup notes still overwhelm the palate. Light bodied, and in a bad way, this beer is for those who drink beer for the lone purpose of getting drunk. Not one I would consider when even buying for company.

It has a pale yellow color that doesn't look as appitizing as it really is. It does have kind of a metallic taste but all around for the price it is a good beer. It is very carbonated but its mouth feel is not that harsh not like a malt liqour and has as much abv% you have a decent drinkability that is quite refreshing.

A: Pale yellow color with lots of bubbles, foamy head is large and yellow;

S: Unpleasant, mineral water and sweet notes;

T: Doesn't have much flavor, some sweet malt and lot of carbonation;

M: Refreshing, fizzy and light body;

D: Very good for hot days but with too much ABV and you can get drunk without realizing it.

From the 24 fl. oz. can marked 09322-NB43. Sampled on January 3, 2010. I saw this single can sitting in the cooler of my corner store and rolled my eyes. I knew I hadn't reviewed it so after a little hestitation, I bought it. It pours pale yellow with a thin bubbly white head and ongoing carbonation. The aroma is a bit like cereal, grass, alcohol, and a hint of hops. Thin mouthfeel. The taste is more alcohol than anything which is a bit of a turnoff for me in a beer. The aftertaste is a bit annoying. This is not a tremendous beer but it does get you buzzed.

Appearance has a light golden color with a quick dissipating head. Smell, I had to work at, but it has a very faint rice aroma. Taste of very light rice and hops, probably the cleanest tasting ice beer i've had and for being so clean I don't even taste the alchohol. Mouthfeel is a rich light with good carbonation. Even though there is no complexity to it, for an ice beer it goes down rather smooth and refreshing.

If you want to get the job done, then drink this. Golden yellow appearance with a big head. Aroma is non existent aside from a tinge or two of malts. Taste is malty, sour rather alcoholic, and more like a malt liquor. Alcoholic flavor is strong even though it is only 5.9. If not tasting, this is a good in between.

Natural Ice. Less than $15 for a 30-pack.

Tasteless when near frozen.
Smell is non-existent.
Overly carbonated, more so than most sodas.
EXTREME Drinkability. It is like chilled carbonated water.

And the best attribute: 5.9% ABV.

Enemy of beer snobs worldwide, best friend of the impoverished.

Natural Ice is 100% win.

Paired this one with a corn dog and some yellow mustard for that full classy effect.

A- I felt weird as I poured this 24oz tall boy can into my pilsner glass. Its prefectly clear with almost no color at all, just a slight tint of yellow. 2 Finger white head rises but fades down to a tiny film. No lacing but very active effervescence.

S- WOW! Straight up corn. Smells like those decorative dried corn cobs you find adorning wreaths around thanksgiving., mixed with tin. At least it has a smell.

T- Very sweet. Too sweet. Mostly all malts and adjuncts.

M- Very light and watery. Lots of carbonation.

D- Easy to drink. Goes down like water. Higher ABV than regular Natty. Gets you drunk

The whole Natty family was a major part of my underage drinking and partying years back. I figure I at least owe this beer a review.

Straight out of a 40. Not much to say about Natural Ice other than that it is cheap. Little taste that I could discern, but nothing abhorrent at that. Maybe some sweetness, a bit more complex than some of its stablemates. Of course, it is highly drinkable, which is the point. Pressed for cash and desirous of a little buzz? You could definitely do worse.

Natural Ice is quite possibly the worst tasting beer on Earth. It does have some good qualities however. #1 It's cheap #2 It get's you drunk, and quick. If you want more from a beer than simple intoxication, avoid Natty Ice.

A- Light Yellow, looks like carbonated urine.

S- Terrible, smells of burnt corn and lots of alcohol.

T- See smell.

M- Natty Ice is best drank very cold and very fast, so you don't really notice the mouthfeel...

D- If you're a fratboy or a bum looking to get drunk as hell, it an A+. However, if you're anything else stay away from this awful brew at all costs.
