Poured from 16oz. "tall boy" can into pint glass.
Another one of these reviews that you just gotta grade on a curve, because it is what it is - an American adjunct, thus it will be graded in comparison to other macro adjuncts, and not compared to craft beer.
A: American adjunct. Light yellow, good clarity, lots of carbonation bubbles, fluffy white 2 finger soda-like head that disappears fast and has a little bit of fake alchemy lace.
S: American adjunct, lol. Boiled corn, maybe some rice, little bit of malted barley and notes of hops try to make their way through a little bit.
T: Has a little more flavor than a macro "light" beer, as you'd expect, almost tastes like Budweiser. Full flavored boiled corn with a weak attempt at some cheap light hops. Tastes just like poor man's Budweiser.
M: What can I say? Feels like a soda, just like most other macro adjuncts - too much fake carbonation, watery, no body, designed for high drinkability.
O: I'll take this over Bud Light or Miller Lite (even though it's not a "light" beer), I'd probably take a Coors Light over a Busch though. It's good when your wallet is empty and you want a half decent, average adjunct beer to get drunk on.
I've certainly had more than my fair share of Busch, and I'd probably drink it again. It's cheap, and it's not bad for what it is. Compared to others of the style, it's actually not a bad choice at all, and there's nothing to really dislike about it.

Kind of nostalgic about Busch because I drank a lot of it in college and somehow developed a taste for it. You've got to be thirsty to appreciate it. Light mouth feel and rather high carbonation make it a good "beverage" beer, especially refreshing after mowing the lawn in 90-degree heat, or with picnic food outside on a hot day. Almost borders on being a "lite" beer. Kind of a sour aftertaste, but not that bad. Best when drunk quickly, not a beer to be nursed by the connoisseur. Somehow I prefer it to Bud and Coors. This is not a great beer, but one of the most drinkable cheap beers - 12-packs are sometimes on sale for $6.95 at the local Rite Aid. Can't beat that.
