Poured at 43°F from a 32oz (born on date 22Feb16) into a Pilsner glass. Consumed on 12May16.
LOOK: A fingers worth of white foam is formed after the initial pour. The foam head dissipates into a quarter fingers worth after a minute and a half. Straw yellow in color. There is a large quantity of both medium and small, rising bubbles. Lacing is moderate in quantity and thick.
SMELL: Mild aromas of car exhaust and grass are backed by subtle aromas of corn, spicy hops, earthy hops, and neutral-scented hand soap.
TASTE: To my surprise, the first flavors to strike the palate are mild earthy hops. Never have I had a macro with such a pronounced hop character. So far, it's drinkable. But that all goes down the drain (quite literally) as subtle hand soap flavors immediately roll out. The infamously mild corn flavors that are the signature of the American macro along with subtle grass flavors now make their way onto the palate. Finally, mild spicy hop flavors and hints of car exhaust enter as all previous flavors persist.
FEEL: Medium-bodied with moderate levels of carbonation. Goes down smooth and somewhat creamy. Finishes crisp.
NOTE: This was quite the complex Macro. But this just goes to show that a complex flavor profile doesn't make a beer good. This was actually worse than Budweiser, which is a difficult fear to accomplish. I'm not even sure who would enjoy this. Perhaps people who have had the their taste buds burned off?

Hey check it out, some urine colored beer, that can't retain a head on top. Aroma of industrial metallic production.

What did they toast the corn on this? What are you looking for? Where did you go wrong looking back on your life to find that you're drinking this anywhere but at a shitty college party? Very watery, brag about drinking 12 cans of water bro. Hops are just sparingly used in that long boil high alpha acid vein. Super carbonated. Some sweetness to it to.

Wouldn't turn one down, but also wouldn't brag on it either.

I Had this sitting in the bleachers at Wrigley Field during the August that the 1969 Cubs choked the pennant away... and guess what, I was underage.

Appearance - No matter what anyone says style wise this looks the part, It pours a glass clear straw color with 2 fingers of fluffy white head that fades quickly which is fine with me because it meant the full tallboy fit in my glass. Carbonation looks moderate.

Aroma - Corn, Light pale malts, and that fresh/clean lager yeast smell.

Taste - Again, corn, grainy pale malt and thats really it, its watery... The corn sticks around as an aftertaste and I'm drinking it Ice cold!

Feel -Super light watery body with prickly carbonation, Its a hot day beer forsure.

Overall - This is pretty much what I expected it to be, a ligher budweiser with corn in place of rice. It's a hot day beer and really the only way I would order this on a hot day was if nothing else was available. I mean Stella or PBR would be way better than this. Cheers!

Introduced by Budweiser as a lower cost alternative this brand today has some severe competition in the sub premium category.

Busch is a popular brand in our college town so it's widely available and reasonably priced. Unfortunately price is it's main virtue because it's very light color, flavor, hop and malt level, is indistinguishable from dozens of others that are are also well liked and reasonably priced. In a side by side I could probably find some slight differences between this one and standard Coors but would be hard pressed to do the same if tasting blind.

Buy it if it's on sale.

As a non biased fan of craft beer, and pure American swill, I genuinely find regular Busch to be far more enjoyable than (Budweiser/Bud Light) This is not only because of the lower price, but because the taste meets somewhere in the middle of it's economic superiors. The smell might not be to pleasant to many people on here, but the body is full, the taste is clean and smooth, and after some doing yard work on a hot summer day (yes I know, the Cliché), it's excellent! The history of Busch is also intriguing to me, it was the first popular "budget beer" of the 1950's, always one of my favorite classics, if not my favorite, cheers!

Okay, so I haven't had this beer in over two decades. I remember it as a sub-par average brew. It's actually far worse than I remember. Served moderately cold, it has a faint, although distinct corn smell. It is clear, light, and carbonated. Virtually no head, and a slight, light body. Corn and some grass in the flavor. This is not a good or enjoyable beer.

I drank this beer out of a 40 ounce, so I couldn't really see the look, so i gave it a neutral rating of 2.5, because you never should pour out a 40. The smell was rather off-putting, it smelled like it was skunked, along with a very sour wheat smell. The taste was much better, with Busch being easy to drink as well as being crisp and refreshing. The mouthfeel was also pretty good, with a nice level of carbonation as well as an aftertaste of fine grain.

Pours a straw colored gold with a foaming white head that will drop quickly. Lots of streaming bubbles.

Smell is white bread with some malts and a sweetness coming through.

Taste is fizzy sweet beer with a watery taste.

Mouth feel is a bit bouncy with the carbonation, other than that it did seem watery and thin with a crisp finish.

Overall this would be an all right beer if it had a bit more flavor. There are quite a few other adjunct beers with more flavor than this one.

Busch was kind of that beer that I would have someone try and they couldn't really pinpoint what it was if they hadn't had it regularly for a long time. It had an alright aroma, kind of bland. Taste was alright as well, but nothing special for it's kind. I had this and a Bud Light back to back and really I enjoyed the Bud Light more somehow. However, overall, not horrible, just not amazing.

There is only one place I will drink this, and that is in Southern Missouri. Pours a light straw. Head was thick, but short lived and it fades into a patch of "floaters." On the tongue this feels like water. Reeks of corn and adjuncts. Head For the Mountains, the mountains of this American Adjunct Lager.

My first beer in college 5 years ago. Drank a 12-pack of it in that night and vomited. This Christmas dinner it was available for free. First sip of beer for the day, it was fine. Second sip was the last. Looks like an average domestic, smells like cheap beer, but is nearly unfinishable if you're sober.

(12 oz can, let sit at room temp for 20 min, poured into a shaker)

L: crystal-clear, very pale yellow-gold liquid... head doesn't hold for shit... looks like a pint of green tea to me... points for being in the right color range

S: nearly fruity-sweet malt core... not much corn... pretty non-descript - no grainy or hoppy aromas... overall potency is muy mellow

T: in my heart of hearts, I want to be believe the taste has something different to offer... is it a different yeast? fermentation method? apparently not... even before I read on the label that this recipe was supposedly originally the Busch Bavarian - am I imaging a hint of Helles? am I imaging those nugglets of banana, clove, and dough?... the more you get in there, a bit of corn and copper lingers... dull-bitter, very grassy hops

F: pretty standard - fairly two-dimensional in body, light, and dry... maybe a phantom doughy-ness to its flow, but pretty dull and dry

O: this was the standard in my grandfather's fridge... only years later did I find out his grandmother's maiden name was Busch - a tribute?... I could hang with this if I had to... fact is, it's got some different (and tastier) than Bud and most of the others... actually one of the better AALs when poured into a glass

I purchased a can of Busch Beer for $1.39 USD in the Highland Park neighborhood of Los Angeles, CA/USA.

Look: Busch Beer had almost no foam.
Smell: Busch Beer had a light aroma of both beer and chemicals.
Taste: Busch Beer had light hints of both alcohol and water.
Feel: Busch Beer had the the feeling of good carbonation.
Overall: People who enjoy the taste of water will enjoy Busch Beer.

It's nothing special, but it isn't offensive to my taste buds, just offensive to my personal tastes. Very watery. I'm always surprised at how watery macro beers are.

Overall, this beer is cheap and easy to come by. I personally prefer it over bud light, budweiser, bud ice, and natty ice/light. This beer for the price is not bad, especially with PBR prices rising due to the hipster market.

The taste is sweet and smooth, instead of the rice adjunct taste I get from budweiser I get a light corn after taste. The head is minimal and light, but after 2 you'll forget you're drinking a beer you can get for $16 a 30 rack. lawn mower quality and backyard BBQ approved as long as you can get passed the people who call you cheap.

Thank you Kevin for showing me the light and teaching me that sometimes beer trades need turds included to help recalibrate our perception and appreciation of good beer.

Can poured into a pint, it appears a clear pale yellow color with a fizzy white head that crumbles fast. It smells lightly fruity with minerals/carbonics. Trying to get more out of this...but it has nothing else to offer.

It tastes watery with mild chlorine, corn and a touch of grass. It has a slightly papery, weird aftertaste. I bet if I served this ice cold I wouldnt have even noticed how much this tastes like nothing.

Its light bodied and modestly carbonated. To it's credit its not as sweet or shitty as many other adjunct lagers but I just dont get why people drink this.

Honestly. I have truly no idea where to start when it comes to this exceptionally smooth, crisp, flavorful, delicious craft of a beer. This 'Great' Canadian Lager leaves me completely speechless even after 40 years of daily consumption. A great pro to this incredible beer is that it tastes completely like water! It craves those alcohol cravings and hydrates you at the same time! I even put it in my sons water bottle during his Peewee hockey games to keep him playing his best and restore his electrolytes! I feel safe giving this to him due to Busch not adding ANY preservatives to this wonderful craft. Ultimately, Mr 'Busch' has created a beer that is simply outstanding. I wouldn't be the person I am today without Busch. Thank you. Mr Busch.

Appearance: Pours from pint can a light piss yellow. Big heavy white suds and average lace.

Aroma: Cereal grains, creamed corn and an ever-so-slight tint of hops.

Taste: Light and watery in body, this lager has a hint of “beer” flavor among the sweet maltiness. Very bland and inoffensive, Busch Classic isn’t a bad beer for the style, but definitely lacks character.

When you pay $16 for 30 beers you can't really complain too much. Busch is easily one of the tops for its price. It's a cheap beer but yet holds some flavor, is smooth and refreshing. Wish it had more alcohol volume but probably a great budget beer to say the least.

Clear pale straw with moderate activity. White 1 finger head, lasting about 5 minutes, with poor legs.

Faint sweet grains smell. Faint flavors of sweet grains and corn. Slightly toasty and roasted with a hint of lemon/acid. More sugary than sour.

Slick medium body with prickly carbonation. Watery light finish, ending with a roasted malty feel and tons of sweetness.

Fresh but bland. A little better than a Bud and most other trash. A sweet beer but not too syrupy and still sharp.

Listen, this beer holds a special place in my heart. My first beer was a Busch, and the taste of it has been special to me ever since. I know it gets trashed by beer snobs, but there is nothing more classic and nostalgic than an ice cold Busch. It's clear and bright as mountain air for a reason.
