Pours amber with a slight, clean white head. Taste is somewhat full bodied, with the "all malt" coming through. Nice hop characteristics. Somewhat sweet, a little floral and gingery. This was a crisp, yet dry beer. I prefer this over the other Michelob varieties.

Overall above average from michelob. Actually has an interesting taste. Not bad at all actually. Interesting though, had some in my michelob holiday pacl, got two more as a gift. Not the best gift i could of gotten, but by far not the worst. At least i did not get bud light. ha ha. not but in all honesty this wasnt a bad beer at all but the taste is kind of hard to describe.

a transparent very mild copper/yellow hue. some lacing. the head is't that bad for AB. a slight malt smell, kinda like the way a cheap malt liquer smells of malts. taste is malty as well. it doesn't taste that good but it is somewhat drinkable. what hops i pick up aren't that good. no surprises here, another boring AB beer.

Crystal-clear orange gold color with a modest white head, lots of broken lace. Moderately carbonated, the bubbles lazily rise to the surface, much like a sparkling wine, quite appealing visually. Aroma is sweet and malty with faint hop notes. Taste begins with sweet caramel malt and a little sting of carbonation. Midway through the taste slightly spicy hops appear, finishes with a slight but lingering bitterness. All in all, somewhat nondescript. Too bad Anheuser-Busch is not willing to push the envelope a bit more.

This brew is just average, its weak point is its crowning glory, they must have forgot to pack it.....Taste is its strong point, well balanced, leaning towards a mild sweetness. Having said that, this beer is boring!!

Clear light golden color with a nice slightly off-white head and nice slow constant carbonation. Grainy malty lightly sweet aroma and taste; no cooked-corn or hops detected. Light-medium bodied with a crisp dry malty finish.

Makes the Michelob Lager taste thin and watery.. they should make this brew the regular Michelob so they can make this one a bit more robust.

Pours with a large bubbly head that goes quickly and leaves no lace. Faint malt nose with good malt flavor and a very slightly hoppy finish. Surprisingly light bodied for a malt. This is the last of the 12-pack and there is no chance I will get another, I had to try them but was disappointed.

This is a very decent macro beer. A bit soft and thin on the palate, but there is a pleasant and smooth malt taste that makes it refreshing and easy-to-drink.

It pours with a very nice deep golden body giving rise to a moderate soft white head that reduces but lingers and laces well in a pilsner glass.

The aroma, is too blah to be distinctive. Nothing there but a flat malt nose. If this had a nice noble hop spiciness, the beer would be immeasurably improved.

The taste is soft and malty, clean, not complex with the characteristic Michelob taste in the background. I assume that hop oils are used to give it the signature taste. Very drinkable.

Overall, this beer is pretty good. I would not hesitate to buy on tap if macros are the only thing available.

The best I can say is that it's better than the other beers with the Michelob name. But there are so many that are so much better. Light aroma with a sweet mix of malt and hops. Pleasing amber color and clear. Smallish fizzy head of off white color that dissipates very quickly. Initially a biting malt flavor that mellows quickly. Malt presence throughout with a dry finish that lingers some. Fullness from a lot of carbonation, otherwise rather thin to feel. Excessive bite with a lack of smoothness. This is drinkable, for a macro.

The beer pours a gold color with a 1/4" white head that fades to lacing. The aroma is decent. It has a nice pale malt scent with some dry lager yeast aroma, but mostly malty sweetness. The taste is average. It has a sweeter than normal flavor which would indicate the use of only malts, but it still has a dry skunky aftertaste. It goes down easy and finishes clean. The mouthfeel is good. It is a medium bodied beer with good carbonation. This is a decent lager. It's better than their regular offering, but it still leaves that skunky aftertaste in my mouth.

This beer pours golden/amber with a one finger head. It has no retention and little to no lacing. The aroma is very faint but I did detect some sweet malts. The taste(what there was of it)was also malty sweet but its lacking in so many areas that it would be hard to list them. It's medium bodied and has average carbonation for a lager. The beer is drinkable(but so is water) don't waste your time on it.

Reflection: You would think a company as big as A.B. could make at least one quality beer, this one isn't it so keep looking.

Pours to a clear golden color, with a white head that quickly dissipates. The aroma is one of faint malt. The taste is clean with a light, sweet malt flavor and slight hop flavor. The mouthfeel is smooth, clean, and light-bodied. Overall, it is a easy drinking beer with light malt aromas and flavors.

Nice looking brew, especially for AB. This beer actually has a good head. fluffy and smooth looking and retained until the end.
hey guys what do ya know? Using barley instead of corn and rice really works! Smell is a little sweet with a very light hop aroma. That weird sugary+alcohol aroma is also evident reminding me of regular michelob/bud. Taste is pretty good. Solid malt base with very light bready flavor. The aftertaste is a little sour and grows exponentially worse as the beer warms. drink fast!

Poured a light, coppery amber, with a fairly good head. Nose was malty and sweet. Clean sweet taste, lacking the adjunct corniness usually found in AB products. A little hop flavor and bitterness on the finish. Pretty easy to drink, even with the high carbonation. This is definitely better than your average macro swill, but it's not all that exciting!

12 oz brown twisty in a Seasonal sampler, “born on” 29OCT04
Aroma: Strong bread yeast with a slice of alcohol
Appearance: Dark yellow with an off white finger of head that collapsed and coated. Kept a fair cover and good lace.
Flavor: Somewhat bland overall taste. Sizable metallic note, some honey flavor, hard to say “balanced” more like no malt, no hop tastes.
Mouthfeel: A bit fizzy, with an oily finish.
Overall Impression: Eh, it’s beer. Nothing really stands out for notice. Was hoping for a malty Oktoberfest or Bock flavor, but there is nothing close to that level of character. Ok, it’s a premium lager, and for the style, it’s not too far off. I don’t find it particularly quenching or enjoyable, but if this is your style, I could recommend this beer.
Otherwise, I need a barley wine.

Now this is a little better than regular Michelob...not much on the nose....maybe some faint spicy hops...it is an orangish/golden in color..clean and clear looking...A-B certainly makes clean looking beers...Taste is definitely better than regular Mich but a far cry from most Micro's...almost a hint of Vienna-style matiness with some spicy hop finish but let me emphasize these tastes are VERY VERY SMALL...Motuhfeel is decent...on the lighter side of medium bodied...as for drinkability?? I'd rather drink these any day than regular Mich....This is a step up from Mich but really not wroth a $hit when compared to any decent beers..

pours out a clear, deep golden color, minimal head and no lace. a very raw, earthy, grainy aroma is balanced by a touch of hops. a moderate body sets up a raw, but relatively light malty taste. i'm guessing this is the regular michelob recipe without the adjuncts. certainly tastes that way. a bit of spicy hop comes through to balance the profile. pretty smooth to boot. not a bad offering from A-B. too bad it takes a special "seasonal" brew for them to finally produce something decent.

Pours out to a dark golden color in the glass with a slight head. Light aroma of grain and bread dough. The taste starts out with slight sourness that rounds it way out to a smooth bitterness on the swallow. Its a bit thin, but decent. Nothing to venture out for, but it shows promise as to what AB could do if they would let their brewers loose with the brew kettles.

Pours a clear pale orange color with a small white head that disappears quickly into a very thin film. The smell is that of a 1/2 skunk rating and faint malt with not much else going on. For an all malt beverage this is a watery light bodied brew with a hint of malt and nothing more along with a light carb bite and finishes watery and clean. How can an "all malt" be so watery? I guess the water hose got away from them and they could't pull it out in time ;-). All in all very drinkable, although very bland. Cheers!

This lager came in the holiday seasonal pack of which I thought to be an overall good buy. The All malt aroma is that of sweet malt & spice. It does give hints that its an AB Mic base. It pours a nice clear amber with a white fluff head thats just fizzy enough to fade it quickly to a thin film. Some lace but thin. The taste of malt, alittle spice, alittle hop. Mouth is left dry. Body is alitte on the light side.

Consumed as part of the Michelob Winter Sampler. The appearance is a cross between an average amber shade and a lighter copper. Head is decent sized and foamy. Aroma is lightly malty and sweet. Taste is moderately malty, yet retains a crisp edge. A taste of real hops not normally associated with an AB product are present. A light and somewhat sugary sweetness finish the sip. As far as mainstream American lagers go I enjoyed All Malt. AB would be wise to replace Honey Lager with this or their Marzen.

This pours a very light copper, which does make it better than 'macro yellow'. The head is decent and almost coming over the Michelob-provided glass. I got mine to last a good bit and leaving good lacing.

The smell is nothing special but is malty. I don't notice any hops yet but the overall smell is not very strong. Could be the style, but I'd think there could me more to it.

The taste is surprising well-balanced but not adventurous. Nice malts up front and subtle, but noticeable, bitterness in the end.

Very light carbonation gives a tingle up front. Nice smooth finish. Does go down real easy.

This is easy to drink as about anything out there. If they sold these in a sixer, and money was a bit tight, it would be a good session.

Not too bad overall. If you have an open mind, go ahead and get the multipack. You might like it.

At least they are trying. This beer is a clear light amber color with a thin off-white head and very little lacing. Faint malt and caramel in the nose. Light-bodied and sweet with some malt and traces of hops and cardboard. The finish is mildly tangy with an underlying sweetness. Better than expected, because based on the label I was expecting some kind of malt liquor concoction. Really this is like most other dumbed-down Michelob beers, not offensive yet not interesting.
