You know its really not that bad for a high alcohol beer made by Budweiser. It has a fruity almost Belgian yeast strain smell to it followed by that graininess you'd find in most macro lagers...which I really don't mind at all to be honest with you. You get a crisp bite from the carbonation in the beginning followed by a syrupy grainy malt backbone and then ending with that fruity almost bubblegum like taste. Only the very slightest bit of hop bite as well.
You can sorta taste the alcohol on this one and is definitely a party get buzzed fast sorta beer. With that being said though its a lot better and has a lot better of crisp fuller mouthfeel than the regular natty's and budweiser beers. The high alcohol at a cheap price without an offensive taste but more of a craft beer sorta fruitiness taste makes this an average beer that I wouldnt mind having again.

It looks fine poured in a big schooner, with an ok head. It looks like a "thick" lager. It smells a tad bit rancid. First taste is rough. The mouthfeel is also "thick" for a lager. By the time you get a quarter into the 25oz, it tastes ok. Do not let it get warm ... you will die (it will become so "thick" and syrupy that it will take you to your knees).
I do drink this beer. I enjoy the heck out of it in the right circumstances. I truly love good beers and ales. This is not one of them. It does however, have it place, as a quick hit malt liquor that will put the crowd in the mood. It is similar to Fireball as compare to decent whiskey. It has it place as a party starter.

okay, let me start out by saying I have drank everything from boones farm to the highest end single malt scotch, I am a big fan of natural ice ... so I saw this and I had to try it, I will agree it is definitely no natural ice ... but, It is what it is... and that is a quick buzz in a can... or 2 to 3 cans, whatever... anyways, for what it is it is not half bad, but if I had a few extra bucks I would just slam a 12 pack of natural ice and call it a sure thing.

Its cheap, it does the job there is nothing to hate about it. It is what is is a inexpensive high alcohol beer that will get you drunk. If you are strictly a craft beer drinker yeah you wont like it cause it has nothing to do with craft but overall for the price and the alcohol percent you will have a hard to time beat it.

24 ounce can served up in a pint glass, this is horrible looking, smelling, and tasting beer. But there's the freshman year college student living in me that has to try this beer. WTF, it's fizzy yellow and high in alcohol. No head retention or lacing this beer looks like carbonated cider or apple juice. Aroma has a solvent chemical smell to it that really doesn't sit well with me, believe me this isn't the beer I'm going to reach for ever again. Flavor wise it's hard to believe they make something this horrible who pitched this to the marketing team, alright the insanely popular Natty Light has to be bigger let's call it NattyDaddy. Hard to swallow down, pretty smooth considering the alcohol content as far as any type of a burn. Harsh in the flavor cooked corn veggies a hint of metallic disgust and more chemical solvent no classic natural ingredients come to mind other than damn this came from a lab and a factory setting. Mouthfeel is horrible the flavor won't leave the palate this is getting dumped down the drain. That pretty much explains how I feel about 24 ounce malt liquor.

24oz can poured into a snifter.
A: Pours a clear light golden pale with a two finger white head. Fairly quick to dissipate, the head doesnt leave much lacing on the glass. Not too much visible carbonation.
S: Typical aroma of most BMC beers with a slightly sweeter malt body and more alcohol presence.
T: Not totally offensive in the flavor department. Corn sweetness is the main character of this brew. Booze is well hidden for 8% as long as you drink it cold. Will admit I thought this was going to be worse than it was.
M: Light body with fairly low carbonation. Somewhat clean finish, not too sticky from all the malts.
Overall its a strong beer to get you drunk. As someone else mentioned, the can states its both a lager and an ale which is pretty funny. Drink this sucker cold.

Really not whole lot that can be said about a brew such as this..Pale yellow with quick to leave head. Violent carbonation that calms down with time.
Basic adjunct lager aromas....
Simple adjuncty grain flavors..clean drinking, pretty thin mouthfeel.. smooth finish...does EXACTLY what it's supposed to do.. The 8%abv sees to this.
This is a tool as much as it is a simple beer.

A - Pours out a pale yellow with a fleeting head and some lacing.
S - Very neutral. I suspect that rice is the major adjunct in this beer.
T - Again, quite neutral and certainly not offensive.
M - Low carbonation with a "wet" mouth feel.
O - For what this is it isn't exactly "bad". When I hear people say this is "the worst beer" ever I have to wonder if they've live sheltered beer lives as there is plenty that make this stuff look like a world class brew. Bottom line is that for what it is it is pretty good.

Pours a pale golden yellow with a thing layer of loose, soft, bubbly, off white head that quickly fades away. The smell is faint; grainy and sweet. The flavor the same; grainy, sweet, mild grass, faint alcohol. The mouthfeel is very light, thin, and crisp.
This is a drinkable beer that's actually very much ignored. Rightfully so. This is not a good beer.

Natty Daddy Is Death In a Can made by Anheuser Busch. 8.1 abv. For the money you will get messed up....Fucked up. Over all this a beer you buy when you want one beer. Not the greatest but not the worst out there. Taste is heavy and bitter. The color is darker than Natural ICE and Bud ICE. Mouth feel was ok.

Poured from a 24 oz. can. Has a light golden color with a 1/2 inch head. Smell is of malts and grains. Taste is of green apples, some malts, maybe a touch of plastic? Some alcohol is present but not overpowering. Feels medium bodied in the mouth and overall, while nothing great, I have certainly had high gravity lagers far worse than this.

25 Oz can poured into a frosty, glass mug
A: Golden yellow, Not too pale, Clear.
Fast growing head, About 3 fingers.
Not much retention, Less than 1 finger.
S: Sweet Corn, Yeast, Malt, Bread
Cannot detect any hops, Though I imagine they are used at some point.
T: Apple-like sweetness, Corn, Slightly sour, or tart.
Definitely not your average tasting beer, or malt liquor,
Does not linger, No strong or offensive aftertaste.
Still not finding any strong hop flavor, But they could just be used to balance.
M: Light, Like water mixed with a little sugar to give it slight viscosity.
Stronger, more active carbonation when consumed just after opening,
As it sits, Most of the carbonation just evaporates away.
This beer surprised me, or rather, caught me off guard being much more bearable than I had expected. I used to buy only Best Ice until I think I was given on by accident, Now I'm hooked. Now I am not saying that it is this is one of the best beers ever, But I do not think it should be on the worst list either. When you read that it has 8% abv, You automatically think of a nasty malt liquor, Since not many 8% beers taste well. That being said, I find this beer has a good taste, Not offensive, And great price, At $1.35-$1.55, Although I've heard that it can go over $2 in certain areas. It used to be $1.09, But I guess they realized how many people preferred Natty Daddy over King Kobra, Steel Reserve or whichever High Gravity Malt Liquor.
Overall, This beer will remain with me throughout my life.

From the 24 fl. oz. can stamped 293-NB80. Sampled on December 17, 2011. Another American Malt Liquor to pound down from the brown bag! And it pours yellow with lots of fizz that fizzles fast. It is important to review this based on style rather than on who brews it. When I first break open the can I get an almost pear-like fruitness. But after I pour it into the my Retro Miller pint glass it becomes a typical grainy aroma with a sniff of yeast, bread, and clean, crisp hops sliding in from the backside. The texture is in the medium range and when swirling it on my tongue it turns to carbonated bubbles in about ten seconds. The taste is very much in tune with the malt liquor style with its pungent grainy and clean hop bite but it does not leave a sour aftertaste like so many other malt liquors. For a craft beer it gets a low rating. But strictly by style it is a tad better than others in this category.

"11284" on the bottom of the can, if a julian date, roughly mid-Sept. '11.
Into a mug this beer pours the typical shade of urine gold, very pale and crystal clear. An angry swarm of bubbles rise, and generate a feeble 1/4" head of white foam, that sticks around for all of 20 seconds before vanishing completely. It looks like apple juice, and if it weren't for a few stray rising bubbles, you really couldn't tell the difference.
Nondescript sweet apple aroma. Barely there, very little to go on. Bland and completely average.
Harsh astringency, mealy apples, perceptible alcohol. Cereal grain, wet paper, sweet envelope glue, palate-deadening alcohol... tongue is numbing down after a few swigs. Fizzy and limp feel, though thankfully lighter in body than some of the more questionable malt liquors out there. It does finish relatively clean, though there is the lingering astringency and alcohol harshness. Cleaner than many, I guess that's an asset when evaluating crunk juice in a can.
How well does it wash down homemade pizza? That's the only real question here. Fairly well, as long as there's some hot sauce to mute the insipid taste, and eclipse the alcohol notes. Drinkability is high despite scoring poorly in general.
Drink it as cold as possible and with food, if you must.
