This beer pours a clear, sparkling yellow with no head or lace. The aroma is lemons and corn. The flavor is mainly lemony with cake and sweet corn notes. It's mouthfeel is thin and it sours as it warms. Bud Light Platinum is okay in a pinch, barely recommended.

A: Pours a crystal clear pale straw yellow in color. The beer has a thin soapy white head that quickly reduces to an extremely thin film covering the entire surface of the beer and a thin ring at the edges of the glass. Light amounts of lacing are observed.

S: Not offensive but there is almost no smell to this beer whatsoever. Very faint hints of sweet corn adjunct malts and some apple juice.

T: Quite sweet with flavors of apple juice, corn adjunct malts, and a hint of rice adjunct malts.

M: Light bodied with moderate to heavy amounts of carbonation. Thin and watery.

O: The best part of this beer is the semi-transparent blue bottle that it comes in. Not surprising but it is not too much different from regular Bud Light. Drinks like water but I don't have any desire to have more than one of these... ever.

A: The beer is crystal clear light yellow in color and has a moderate amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a thin head that quickly died down, leaving lacing on the surface and a thin ring of bubbles around the edge of the glass.
S: There are light aromas of Concord grapes in the nose along with some hints of grainy malts.
T: The taste is not very flavorful and has some hints of corn and rice malts.
M: It feels light-bodied and a bit thin on the palate with a moderate to high amount of carbonation.
O: This beer is easy to drink but doesn’t taste much more that slightly flavored water.

had been looking forward to this since I saw the ad on the super bowl in 2012 - bought it 1st time I saw it in June. poured from the 12 oz bottle into my new belgium goblet

A:pours TOO light, like watery lemonade. a bit more golden in the glass - very very clear a maybe a dark yellow. develops a great bigt 3+ finger head on the pour that you can actually hear as it settles super quick and leave no lace at all. a sip of the head gave me the 1st impression of: "watery"

S: corn, metallic corn I guess. not really offensive but not attractive either

t: honestly I had big hopes for this becuase first time I saw about it was a super bowl ad. not as bad as it might be is the best I can say. farily tasteless - but a bit on the bad side, leaving a slightly rancid aftertaste.

M: watery and fizzy

D: only good marks will be here. for sure this is session beer.

Enjoyed this 12oz bottle out of a large snifter glass.

A: Pours a clear golden hue with a thick white head that slowly dissipates down the glass leaving a nice trail and ending in a soild lace.

S: Mild aromas of grains and malt with a hint of creaminess.

T: Smooth and slightly tart flavor and again like the aroma there is a creaminess here

M: Medium body and medium carbonation.

O: I was not looking forward to drinking this beer – but it was a decent brew. Defintely better than a regular Bud light with a little more alcohol - but nothing I would grab again.

From 05/23/12 notes. Poured from a 12 oz. can into a pint glass.

a - Pours a bright, pale straw yellow color that is very transparent, one finger of fluffy white head that only lastsfor a minute or two, and high carbonation evident. Looks like Bud Light.

s - Smells of corn, grains, wheat, and light sweet pale malts. Not much going on at all, but not skunky light some other light lagers. VERY similiar to Bud Light.

t - Tastes of corn, lightly sweet, grains, bread, and wheat. Again, not offensive but nothing going on. Not skunky at all.

m - Light body and low to moderate carbonation. Light, watery mouthfeel.

o - Overall this is pretty much the same exact beer as Bud Light, with slightly less taste and less calories. Might as well drink this if you're drinking Bud Light as at least you'll save half the calories.
