From the 12 fl. oz. bottle marked 14057-BO35. Sampled on May 23, 2014.
The pour is about average with its pale yellow color and ridiculously foamy white head that diminishes in no time. When I say pale yellow - I mean it looks close to colored water.
The aroma is bland and unexciting with a touch of grainy malts and a hint of lemon drops.
The body is thin to light but probably appropriate for what it is.
The taste is way too lemony and more like lemonade. I barely pick up any grain or malts. There is a zingy hop kick at the end but that may be wishful thinking. Ah well...I've reviewed it.

Pours a predominantly clear light straw color, with a thin white head that dissipates rapidly. Lots of carbonation, accompanied by an audible fizzy hiss.
Aromas are of fake lemon and wet cardboard.
Palate is light and crisp. Tastes are of citrus lemon, and ginger ale.
Overall, the list of ingredients is rather off putting. The first two ingredients to this thing, which the can claims is a "Belgian Style White Beer" is "beer" and "ale". Wait how is beer an ingredient in beer? Next on the ingredient list is sugar, and a long list of words like "flavour" and "modified". No thanks.

Shock Top Lemon Shandy has a thin, white head, a cloudy, yellow-gold appearance, some bubble streams, and no lacing left behind. The aroma is of light wheat bread, mainly, with a background lemony note. Taste is of a stronger lemonade and sugary aspect, with a noticeable and pleasant wheat bread component. Mouthfeel is on the light side, and Shock Top Lemon Shandy finishes somewhat tart and very easy drinking.
