Shock Top End of the World Midnight Wheat
Appearance : Cloudy muddy brown color, white head and a bit of lace. Poor clarity.
Smell: Dusty wheat, and ultra clean malts, smells very little of the chocolate malts endorsed on the bottle.
Taste: Wheat malt, a small portion of watery chocolate malts, and a small residual burn from the peppers, as advertised. The chili aspect to the beer makes it interesting, but this brew is really lacking in body.
Feel: Very watery, with low carbonation. Soft feel, like seltzer water that's left sitting open all night.
Overall: A confused, mildly interesting tasting beer from the megabrewer Anheuser Busch, but far too watery to be considered a fine beer. Without some fullness or broader flavor it will be the End of the World for this brew.
