Had a small paper cup of this at Sea World in San Diego at the A-B building. I thought they snuck this in to satisfy the folks who think other A-B products have no flavor. (like me) I was quite impressed, and even snuck around for another sample. Seemed like they were going after the Guinness lovers. I dunno how it compared to Guinness without both there to compare, but I didn't think it was too far off.
Then, my beer review brain started working and I thought It has flavor, like a stout, but It would be one of the worst stouts I remember having. The mouthfeel was strange because, like other A-B products it was overcarbonated. Drinkability, again I loved it at first, but then started thinking comparatively to other micros I like, and naw . . . not really that good.

This poured out looking a little like a lighter version of Guinness. The color was a deep brown but not black like a stout should be. The head was creamy and tan in color with a light sticky lacing on the glass after each sip. The smell of the beer wasn't anything too impressive. It was a little musty or earthy with a light roast aroma to it also. The taste of the beer was light, it had a minimal amount of flavor to it with a touch of roasted bitterness in the finish. The mouthfeel of this beer was light, a little watery to me, by no means was in creamy like it should be be. Overall this beer isn't anything special. I wouldnt have to have it again.
